Henry's in trouble. He's gone from being a big fish in a little pond in his home town to being a very small fish in a much bigger pond at college, and he's just not keeping up.
Instead of passing him through his classes because of his athletic ability like they did in high school, he discovers his professors actually mean it when they say he needs to do the work or he's going to fail his classes--and be kicked off the all-star hockey team.
Adjusting to life at university sure isn't as easy or fun as he thought it was going to be--his roommate likes the same girl he does, and it looks like she likes him, too; he's failing English for sure and the dragon-lady who teaches the class seems to have a personal vendetta against him; and his hockey coach has even gone so far as to bench him!
When his parents hire him a tutor, he turns to this angel of mercy for help, but little does he realize that Mrs. Toni Franklin is going to complicate his life in ways he never could have foreseen...

A hot little taboo student/teacher erotica story snuck into this amazing series~ #HotRead
I liked Henry's story more than Janie's. It was kind of weird that he was in college ans still couldn't read. It was refreshing to see a man being the lead character in one of Selena's books.
I like Henry but I don't like him. I like him because he can be sweet and adorable. I don't like him because he is also a jock prick at times. This story with U of M references all over was rather amusing. Sadly, I could even see the things happening in real life, since I did attend U of M. I'm a bit surprised Ms. Kitt used the full name of Mo-Jo. When I went to school there, it was always referred to Mo Jo on the Hill.
This story was so realistic, I'm tempted to look up the professor in the directory to see if she exists. The sex in this was okay for me. The hazing part was funny and I had to read it carefully to understand the rules. I still think there should have been some forced m/m anal. But that is just my deviance speaking.
I am so sad that we have run out of Baumgartners. This was the hottest series of books I think I have ever or will ever read. Selena Kitt takes us to Henry's school where he is skating by on a Hockey scholorship. Well he was until his teacher, his hot single cougar teacher, discovers he can't read. She then takes him under her wing and her skirt to teach him how to read. Because really, nothing helps a boy read like a foreign film with butter coated anal sex. *snort*
In between his "lessons" Henry, who has only been laid once up until now, stumbles through pledging for a fraternity, meeting a hot red-headed librarian, and uncovering an illegal gambling ring. Boy's been busy.
Among all the sex...and wowza was there some sex...there was a great story of Henry coming into his own sexuality. I loved the reference of "he must have good genes" in the book. Um yeah...he's got some of the best!
While there are no threesomes like many of us became used to through this series, we do get public scenes, a bunch of hot frat guys sharing sex toys, and Henry's first foray into anal.
The only thing that I had to move past was that Mr. and Mrs. B didn't know that he was illiterate. I got the impression of them being so caring and intuitive as far as their family was concerned, that I had a hard time accepting that they wouldn't know about Henry's problem. I just had to accept that and move on.
This is one for the re-read pile for sure. But fair warning. Before reading make sure your SO is near, your batteries are charged, and you are able to get someplace private quickly. This book is scortching hot!
I already knew that I liked Henry from reading just a small amount about him in Baumgartner reunion. He is the Baumgartner who doesn't act like one - he's the conventional kid in a pretty unconventional family. Okay, well other than that very brief time he was crushing on his sister, but nothing happened, so I'll excuse him for it!
This Kitt book had more plot than her normal fare, which was a nice change. I enjoyed following Henry around in college and seeing what adventures and troubles he would get into. Was there still smut? Well, it is a Kitt book, so you know it's going to be in there. Again though...Henry = pretty vanilla. Other than a seriously weird hazing ritual involving some sex toys *insert chuckle*, he was a cute kid falling in love with a cute girl, and dealing with a roommate who wanted to cockblock him every step of the way. He did have a couple of brief interludes with a teacher and a friend with benefits, but neither of those situations stopped him from continuing on in his quest to be with the girl he loved. Dare I say it was almost sweet?
This is probably my second favorite Kitt book, but it's also one of the tamest, so I'd recommend it for people who like a steamy read while still enjoying a fair amount of plot/storyline. All of these books read like standalones, so you can skip the more controversial Baumgartner books if you'd like, and start with this one.
Henry isn't nearly as wild as his parents once were, but he is certainly no slouch in the bedroom. The story begins with Henry, a college freshman...relatively inexperienced sexually...the book sees him through a plethora of explicit and adventurous sexual encounters. As exciting as his college life seems, his story has nothing on the original Baumgartners!
I do have to say that I was slightly disappointed with the discovery of Henry's deficiency.
Overall, I thought it was a fun read and I am sad that this is the end of the Baumgartners...I guess until Henry gets married or Janie and Henry's children are old enough to romp around between the sheets :-). I am certainly looking forward to the future of this oversexed family.

Oh No...I am so disappointed that this series, which I have really liked a lot, ended with this book!!!
I did not enjoy Henry's story. All that "pledging" thing, with the students playing with rubber vaginae, jerking off as they watch porn movies....just did nothing for me...in fact it had me skimming more pages than what I actually read!!!!
The whole thing of Henry's "problem"..no no not with his dick....boy he has no problem in that area...and the older woman/teacher helping him out...in more ways than others....and here we have poor Henry lovesick for the girl who does not want him!!!!!!!!!!! Just to "juvenile" for me...
So please Ms Kitt, can't we have another book in this series? What about what happened to Dani and there's of course a story for Gretchen & Catherine...geez those two women are abso FABULOUS!!!
Here's hoping for the next CHAPTER....I guess by now Doc & Carrie have retired...i wonder what they are up to!!!! Can't say I miss Ronnie & TJ ....but do think of Janie & Josh sometimes...they're such a cute couple.
Okay, that's all that I can say about a series I truly got into!!!!
I totally loved this one. Henry is totally a great, stand-up guy, despite how he got through school before getting to college, lol. I loved how concerned he was about the women in his life -- he wasn't into just screwing for the act of screwing. Don't get me wrong, he's a healthy 19-year-old boy with healthy appetites, he's just not looking for a hole, any hole will do. Which made me love him. The fraternity pledge scene seemed to drag on a bit, but I suppose that was sort of the purpose, lol. Overall, it was a great story. Of course, it's a Selena Kitt story, so there's sex, but it was the perfect amount and the perfect type for Henry. And, oddly for a Baumgartner story, no threesome scenes! There was mild exhibitionism, but no actual multi-partner participation.
Being the first adult book I have read since the obligatory flipping through of Penthouse forum mags when I was younger, This story was worlds apart from what I would have expected from this type of material. The story was very interesting and the sex scenes were very stimulating and not so out of the real world so that most people could relate or remember a similar personal experience. Reading this book makes me want to go fund the rest of the series to read will most defiantly check out more work by this author.
I loved Henry!!! This was my fave of all the books in the Baumgartner series. Henry was so adorable. This book actually had a story line (a good one!) and not just sex. I felt so sorry for Henry being ashamed of his disability. I really hated his roommate, Dean. He was so annoying and arrogant! I really liked Libby and Toni. They were very good influences on Henry and really helped him with all his issues. I really liked this book!
Another wonderful and shocking read. The Baumgartner's have a way of appalling and enthusing you all at the same time. It's one of those series you wish didn't end. Henry is a very caring and kind boy I would love to meet, all of the Baumgartner's for that matter. They are written to feel real, you fall in love with them. I wish there was more.
This was my first read of Selena Kitt and found that it was a GREAT PICK!! This was an incredible read. So great to see a great HOT story from a male POV!! I hope she continues this trend!
Thank goodness this one worked for me. I always did like Henry a bunch more than the rest of his family; he just seemed sweet and sensitive and somehow this holds true even though at 19 he is a hockey jock at University of Michigan.
Kitt actually does a great job of kicking off this story of a young man who’s not very experienced sexually or with relationships, but how shall we say - eager, nonetheless. The narrative is incredibly helped by giving Henry an actual conflict to deal with: he can’t read, and has been getting away with it for years. It’s under this context that he meets library student Libby and kind of immediately falls for her, as well as his “dragon lady” teacher Toni Franklin who ends up tutoring...and doing a lot more with him (and who apparently is a friend of the Baumgartner parents, though I don’t remember if she’s in other books?).
The sexy scenes are built right out of college classics, including a frat hazing incident that must be read to be believed, lots of creative uses of a Fleshlight, and of course the restrained passion between Henry and Toni that then fully flowers. Henry is ultimately monogamous but since he doesn’t end up with Libby til the end, there are plenty of diversions.
The end comes around fast, with a plot line involving Henry’s roommate Dean and his gambling problem suddenly bursting forth, and the transition between Toni to Libby is also rushed and glossed over. Sometimes I feel that Selena Kitt just doesn’t want to do the work to have these complicated stories play out naturally.
But I didn’t hate myself reading this, or the characters within it - unlike the truly hot garbage disgusting mess that was Janie’s story. I like Henry, his story, and his HEA.
Ok...so I wasn't going to go on, but I was promised that Henry's book has absolutely no icky relations in it. And since I can't leave something unfinished and this was the third book in a boxed set, I pushed through. I was extremely uneasy with the reunion book and Henry's fascination with his sister. Not a step sister, his blood relative, same mother AND father, older sister. So I was completely apprehensive about this book. Turns out Henry must have completely forgotten about his sister from the time of the reunion in Key West, until he was a freshman in college, which was less the a year. Thank goodness. While there was more of a story this time, than in any other book, I wasn't completely impressed with the initiation of the pledges at the fraternity house that Henry joined. It was long and drawn out and played a VERY small part in the outcome of the story. The teacher situation didn't flow well into the rest of story, it just kind of ended abruptly. The "drama" didn't take long to play out. There should have been a little more to the ending of the affair with Toni. There were only a handful of paragraphs highlighting their conclusion, but pages devoted to the competition at the frat house. Wild have enjoyed a bit more story...

I started reading the Baumgartners series of books because I was looking for some incredible sex scenes and have found Selena Kitt to be very good at describing the sex scenes in very titillating detail. What I have found in every one of these Baumgartners books so far has been an excellent story line with very lovable characters (and some down right despicable characters as well) that also happen to have some VERY steamy sex scenes. This book like all of the Baumgartners books before it did not disappoint. This book like the others in this series before it is well worth reading. I am hooked on the Baumgartners books and will be reading every single one.
If you like smut and the occasional story about an older woman with a younger man -- this is the book for you. There was once scene towards the beginning that lasted a little long for me; I'd gotten the point already. But, then college boys and frats and all -- it fit.
As for the rest of it? Love interest, Friend with Benefits, and then the 'teacher' it was good smut! ;-) Lotta' steam and total adult content. >;-)
Too sleepy to write a review. So heres the highlights
College hockey player can't read Frat hazing, porn, multiple releases and fleshlights Jerk roomate Sex with english proff who teaches him to read Hot redhead librarian Val Plenty of sex like in previous baumgartner stories but this mainly stayed one-on-one except for hell week reward. Liked this more than the others.
I LOVED this book. Selena either needs to hand out batteries or extra panties. There might not be any of the usual sexual activities of the other books but this book is a definite panty drencher. Henry was sweet, even if his dick was in control most of the time. I liked Henry's relationship with Toni and him and Libby together too. Great story.
Oh Henry. Oh how he's grown. Love the fleshlight since we had the big black vibrator for Ronnie and Carrie, and the Lelo for Janie. I'm glad that Henry got to get in on the fun with the toys as well. Considering how he lost his virginity, I think it was totally appropriate that he get with an older woman. :)
5 f#%k-me-all-night Stars!***** Aside from the first book of the series...this is a tie for my favorite! From henry f#%king girls non stop and the tons of masterbating going on in this book, this book had it all! Great story, interesting characters, tons of hot sex & a really good ending! I liked the ending a lot! :)
I adore Doc & Carrie... and in this series, which should not be read in bed or at night, if you know what I mean!, they're back... But not front and center as in the past. It's their son's turn and he is just as bad or as good as his parents.
Def a page turner, but not quite as hot as the previous novels.
I’m about two thirds through this book, and here are my thoughts: 1) it’s not a romance, it’s a book about young college students masturbating and having sex. 2) The musical bits between chapters are annoying and remind me too much of a generic porn soundtrack. 3) The depiction of a person with dyslexia is surprisingly sensitive. Well, at first.
Wow, Henry is one cool, smooth dude! Loved the story from the male perspective, so different nowadays
Lots of hot smexy going on, but also a really good storyline that kept me flipping pages. The extended frat boy scene caused a little lost for the story but overall an awesome book!
