I didn’t care for this book as much as some of the others. Chip and his teammates take a goodwill trip to Korea and Japan and there is a lot about the culture of the two countries as well as monuments, sights, shrines, and that sort of thing. There is still some good character stuff and some good games, but I wanted more about the people and less about the other countries.

Chip Hilton

An excellent book to discover the value of openness and friendship. The baseball is excellent and Chip and Soapy are great example of sportsmanship and humanity. A great read for young readers.

I read most of these books as a young boy enjoyed them then but my cynicism now ruins them for me.
