People who believe in reincarnation are always hungry for knowledge about their past lives. Now, through her karmic approach to astrology, Judy Hall shows how to find out how our present and future are affected by the lives we've lived before. By explaining the workings of karma-the credits and deficits gathered by the soul through each of its lives-she offers readers the key to powerful new insights. She shows how karma can trap a person in a self-destructive cycle, or offer unsuspected opportunities for change and growth. Looking at astrology from the perspective of past lives, seekers will discover both how they became what they are and how they can tap into their unlimited personal potential.
An internationally known author, astrologer, psychic, healer, broadcaster and workshop leader, Judy Hall has been a karmic counsellor for over thirty years.

She has conducted workshops around the world. A trained healer and counsellor, she has been psychic all her life and has a wide experience of many systems of divination and natural healing methods.

I consider myself a bit of an amateur when it comes to studying astrology and found this book easy to digest and the information in it was laid out in an approachable way.
My main criticism is that I do wish it was slightly more in-depth. Certain areas were fleshed out while others were skimmed over. This would be a great intro for someone interested in karmic astrology but wouldn't be well-suited to absolute beginners or intermediate and beyond students. I can see this book being very unfulfilling for more advanced astrologers as well.
For someone new to karmic astrology I found it a great way to whet my appetite to learn more! I recommend checking it out if you're also new to it and know some basics of astrology - though Judy Hall does explain even the slightly more advanced concepts (planets, houses, aspects, etc.) so you won't be hopelessly lost if you're a total novice.
4 out of 5 stars! About ten pages into this book and I was already feeling excited! As an "astrologist" in South East Asia, I have to deal with a lot of questions about Karma and past lives which is not really emphasized in Western (Tropical) Astrology. I also like to learn and do readings about people's past lives. So this is not only educational and useful to me in my day to day life, it's also fun. I took all of these with a grain of salt but I'm a Buddhist who believes in Karma so many of the content resonated. I don't think it will be same for others who only practice Western Astrology.
