Karmic astrology postulates that we are eternal spiritual beings whose past-life patterns can be identified in our birthcharts along with the purpose of our new incarnation. Drawing on famous case histories, Hall supports this theory and deepens our own spiritual perceptions by linking them to a pattern laid down in the past.
An internationally known author, astrologer, psychic, healer, broadcaster and workshop leader, Judy Hall has been a karmic counsellor for over thirty years.
Her books have been translated into fifteen languages. Her specialities are past life readings and regression; reincarnation, astrology, psychology and natural forms of healing.
She has clients from all walks of life: the House of Lords, the European Parliament, pop singers, university professors, scientists and mystics, and people on social security.
She has conducted workshops around the world. A trained healer and counsellor, she has been psychic all her life and has a wide experience of many systems of divination and natural healing methods.
Judy has a B.Ed. in Religious Studies and an extensive knowledge of world religions and mythology. Her mentor was Christine Hartley (Dion Fortune's metaphysical colleague and literary agent). She completed her Masters Degree in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at Bath Spa University.
As much as I feel reincarnation is an important subject involving human evolvement and learning- I found this book to be like a 'case' management of the Author. It is intriguing and helpful with information on how astrologically and Karmically there are connections, but there were too many examples of the author's experience via her patients. I expected at some point this book would assist the reader in navigating their 'own' chart to see what possible lessons this incarnation would bring- alas, this was not available. Very technical and convoluted and found it difficult to finish. Unless you do astrology for others or you are just curious about reincarnation and the link then, this book is not for everyone.
I think the concept of past lives is amazing. Why shouldn't we consider that we get a new chance to work on our karmic crap? :)
Judy Hall writes very pleasantly! Definitely would recommend this to people who are familiar with the subject of astrology. It can get pretty complex with all the chart analysis, and aspect chatter.
To me this books was too piscean. The story goes everywhere with case studies and this books is less suitable for navigating your own horoscope. I did not finish the book and stopped reading halfway.
