The read is very educational-- it even has a list of fun loon facts!! It is calm, until It isn't, but then it is happy and exciting. Great for even young ages. As a person living in Maine, it is definitely a great read for Mainers since we have so many Loons here.

Thoughtful story accompanied by vivid paintings to bring words to life. Great children's book for sharing the importance of respect for nature.
