This is a collection of poetry all about the state of Texas. It is a retelling of the classic Mother Goose tales with a Texans take.
The author mainly uses form poetry. The lines are all pretty rhythmic though since it is a collection it can vary from poem to poem.
The rhyme brings you into this collection. It makes it fun for the young readers and especially for the Texan ones!
