I was looking forward to seeing them in person instead of in encrypted video calls and disappearing chats. Selling five from my stable meant I could buy a few if they were special enough. And there are always surprises when you inspect what’s for sale! There were at least 100 slaves displayed.
But then I saw him. I looked up and down the rows and I saw his face - and he saw me. If he hadn’t been locked to a bar, he would have run away as fast as his legs could carry the former ex-senator. The Houston girls put him up for sale and no matter what he cost, I would buy and own him today. His fate? Tasting the kind of brutal physical and mental punishment I can inflict on him every day for the rest of his life. Payback? Yes. Revenge? For certain. How did it feel? That’s not another story; it’s this one.

Great story telling!
That is exactly what this book is, great story telling. By the time you finish reading it, you’ll find yourself thinking “he got exactly what he deserved.” I’m looking forward to reading more of Ms. Harris’ books.

Reading this book is like watching a train wreck in slow motion, or watching Car Driving Ice Follies.
You just can't wait to see what happens next, but there is absolutely no cadence to the "story".
This happened, and then this happened, and then this happened...
Absolutely no build up or suspense, nor is there any serious character development. You could almost write it yourself (without a laid out plot).
I only finished it, because I wanted to see the next result of the train wreck, until I finally found something better to do. I had many better choices, but being the anal retentive bitch I am I finished it.
It got better, but I'm still thinking I should have left it at 2 stars.
Definitely not in a hurry to see if she wrote anything else.

This was a very nice story and very erotic book. Lots of characters made this story interesting with a great finishing chapter.
