A book about cruising and being on the run without going anywhere. Raw, honest and devoid of soapboxes. A good book for boys.
I am not sure what to make of this book. It didn’t really have a story per se, but more like a collection of tales told from the perspective of a teenage boy growing up in a low socio-economic area.
Some of it was interesting, but some of it seemed a bit disjointed.
This is the book that made me a reader, way back in early high school. Not one of the best books I've read but it still had an impact on my teenage self.
This is a story of things that happened in the life a 16 year old high school student. I found it a good read as it was easy to listen to and quite an interesting look into the thoughts and actions of a teenager. It was only 2 hours long.
