This book was created as a Ninetieth birthday present for my real-life Aunt Jackie. (We call her Aunt Boo.) Even though Jacqueline Waverly is a fictional character, my Aunt Boo is as full of life and adventure as she is. The research I did for this story was one of the best parts. It seemed to just fit right into the storyline; adding real-life experiences and people made it even better. This time period was one of hardships and glamor. We will never see anything like it again.
