Ayse Yilmaz and Ahmet Sulliman have four things in common, they are beautiful and clever. They are the only children of two of the wealthiest famillies in Turkey and they don't want to get married! However his attempts at seduction leave him frustrated and annoyed as Ayse thwarts his passion again and again. The situation changes slowly over time when Ahmet takes Ayse to New York to pick up the engagement ring that he has commissioned for her. However, danger is lurking in the shadows in the shape of Ahmet's ex-mistress an American socialite by the name of Serena Douglas, who tormented with jealousy and slowly coming unhinged sets about trying to sabotage Ahmet's new life. Serena follows them from New York to their wedding in Ankara causing mayhem. Only when she almost succeeds and he nearly loses Ayse does Ahmet come to realise that he truly loves her and then it becomes a race against time to save the woman that he loves from the woman he hates and to try to save the marriage that he thought he didn't want until it is nearly too late. This book is pure romantic fiction and has a traditional theme with a thoroughly modern backdrop.
