This book is highly misleading. I read it hoping to learn more about the first Indonesian President only to be presented with Adam's constant whining about the country's flawed bureaucracy, weather, busted sidewalks, lousy hotel room, and how she--as a person who makes acquaintance with world leaders on a daily basis--did not get a proper service at her disposal. Also, there are a lot of Indonesian words that are way off. The fuck is ayer cherook? If you want to incorporate Indonesian words, at least do your research.
I liked this book and I finished this book today - 17 August 2014, it means 69 years of Indonesia Independent day. A perfect day to finish this book. I gained some knowledge that surprising about Indonesia first president.
However, this book is not Sukarno Autobiography but story about the writer's experience when she tried to write the book.
I will get Sukarno's autobiography in the future if I can find the book online in English or if I can buy it when I go back to Indonesia.
