Well and truly terrible. Astoundingly terrible. I'm actually struggling to come up with redeeming qualities of this volume. Plot, characters, themes, dialogue. Nothing about this was enjoyable. There were a couple of nice panels I guess?

This, to me, played out a lot like The Crow Stairway to Heaven, in regards to its intentions to put on display what wasn't shown in the movie. I almost swear that Muth used STh as a basis as Eric in here sometimes reminds me of Mark. Maybe coincidence. The one constant thread throughout is the actual crow telling Eric that a virus infests people, which is why people do bad things. That could have gone somewhere but that simply could have been the result of this series being cancelled. Anyways, a story line that featured Albrecht's kid, the desecration of Shelly's grave....let alone a re-interpretation of The Skull Cowboy. Interesting but just not hitting their marks. By the way and correct me if I'm wrong but I could have sworn this might have been cash-in once Image got the rights to release an Eric Draven figure.
