This was pretty boring for me...though there are stories here that were written quite well but most of them didn't bode well with me...perhaps my mood or they were just plain boring. 3 stars

Author Kari Thomas makes women’s fantasies come true with a tint of paranormal romance. Her short story Purrfect Timing has a likeness to the fairytale The Frog Prince by the Brothers Grimm as Abigail Miller finds her true love, a man cursed to be a cat until he meets the woman he’s meant to be with for eternity.

Abigail Miller is no ordinary woman. She’s a witch who is ordered by the coven’s headmistress to find a mate by the stroke of midnight on Halloween. Thomas keeps the reader guessing as to whether Abigail will find a man on her own or will she have to accept whichever mate the headmistress chooses for her.

The narration is conversational with characters that readers can relate to as the story rekindles the hope that one’s true love is truly out there. Purrfect Timing is a fun read for Halloween and every other day of the year.

Some of the stories were 3 stars at best, some 0, so I averaged it out to 2 stars. These stories were short & somewhat cute but for the most part lacked any depth. I know they were short stories but even short stories have depth & plot. These were more like amateurs writing a story for amateur hour. None of these made me want to read anything else from any of these authors.

Where Volume 1 was a m/m sexual sensation and a sensory heat feast and Volume 2 tried to achieve the same with m/f, m/f/m and even foursomes, this one is rated PG-15. While the stories are nice, cute and sweet it lacks the animalistic side of the paranormal characters, or are they just human, too? Still a good read and I love good short stories.

Probably my least favorite of the three volumes, it seemed like the stories were just starting to get revved up and then they ended. Before the sex. What?
