Absolutely fulfills the brief as a ground-zero, entry level, very basic introduction to independent film making I can see myself returning to later this year when my own Indi film project with the Manchester co-op can finally start (2022 the year of no bloody COVID restrictions yo).
A bit dated in parts but I understand their is a revised edition out there so I can still recommend it as a pretty solid base reference for shooting physical film.
