Mangesh Keshav Padgaonkar (Devanagari: मंगेश केशव पाडगांवकर) is a Marathi poet from Maharashtra, India.
Awards and recognition[edit]
Padgaonkar has received several awards, some of them are –

Sahitya Academy Award in 1980 for his collection of poems Salam (सलाम),
The M.P. Literary Conference Award in 1956,
The Maharashtra State Award in 1953 and 1955.
Maharashtra Bhushan Award in year 2008 (along with noted Spiritual leader Nana Dharmadhikari).[11]
Padma Bhushan in 2013.[12]
Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad (Ma. Sa. Pa.) Puraskar in 2013 [13]

One of the best poets of Marathi. Salam is one of his great feasts to poetry lovers.
