This was my 22nd book read of 2010,but I wish it had been 1st. An incredible wealth of great information. I couldn't ask for a better resource on starting a research business. The second edition is out in 2 weeks and I really look forward to reading it.
This is a great book for anyone starting a new business, not just information professionals. I got a lot out of it and I have been in business for 20 years. Mary Ellen writes very well. I particularly valued her marketing ideas.
This is the book for anyone interested in research in general but especially if interested in running a business. I elected not to run this particular business but enjoyed the book very much anyway.
