Here, the main ones are about Mike, Danny, Ty & Rich and the newcomer Jo Allen. There is also the story about Craig and Brad, and a little bit about Don. It turns out that Mike has a 16-year old little brother, living with his mum. Mike’s father lived in Florida, but has kept paying alimony to his child. However, now he needs Mike’s help with Joe Allen, since he has become somewhat of a wild one. I loved how Mike, despite his initial protests, finds himself liking having his little brother around. Mike, Ty and Rich are almost a little bit like the guys in “Three Men and a Baby” in how they are concerned about Joe Allen. These guys are amazing, their little collective is so well-working and I hope they stay together forever…Again, I love Rich. He makes his best to help Joe Allen out with his school work, even though he himself mostly doesn’t have a clue. The second storyline is about Randy and his search for love. This ends happy, with him taking off with Chad, the young cowboy who had a crush on Don. The third storyline is about Craig, a colleague of Danny’s. Craig has a wife and children, but also a lover on the side since years back. Brad and Craig met during a conference, and have not been able to stay away from each other. Well, they can only meet up 2-3 times per year, but they love each other a lot.Brad has decided to leave his wife, but Craig is not sure what to do. He ends up telling his wife, and gets some help from Danny, who brings him back to Mike’s ranch. While there, Craig realizes through interactions with Joe Allen, that he can’t leave his children. They are the most important thing in his life, and they need him now, and for years to come. Craig tells Brad, and also explains that they can’t have any contact with each other any more, since he has promised his wife. However, there is still some hope left for this hungry romance reader…:"Tell me something," Brad said. "Will there ever come a time when you won't have to do that anymore because I'll be right there with you? Will you ever be free--will you ever set yourself free?"It was hard hearing it put that way, and for a second Craig saw himself as Brad saw him--an inmate in a prison of his own making."I'm thinking, maybe when all the kids have left home," he said. When he had doubts about the decision he'd made, it was a hope he'd begun to cling to.Aww, I hate unhappy ever afters! Can't everyone be like Danny & Mike?mm-romance
