Journalist Steven Vincent traveled extensively throughout Iraq and interviewed Iraqis from all different walks of life. He seems to give a well rounded perspective of the struggles to re-build Iraq after the fall of Sadaam. It's an excellent "read".

Shortly after reading this book the author was killed by those he was writing about in Iraq. Steven Vincent was a reporter and much like an "inbeded reporter" during Desert Storm, he lived among the people.
