Over the past year, thousands of viewers have asked about questions for investments, debts, home mortgages and ownership, wills and trusts (or lack thereof), medicaid, long term care insurance, life insurance, college planning, bankruptcy, saving now for later and a variety of other topics. I've noticed that the same questions tend to come up again and again. Finally, I thought, why not put all the questions in one place so you can find the answers easily? That is the idea behind this book, Ask Suze. I've taken the most pertinent questions I'm asked most often and answered each one. You can read the book straight through, or if there is just one subject you are concerned about, such as how to qualify for medicaid, you can turn to that specific section. If there is a particular term you want to learn about, such as 'revocable living trust' you can also look in the index to see then pages where that term comes up. This book can serve as a quick reference guide. The most important part of any question is finding the right answer. This book is designed to help you in research your questions.
I've read most of this set, but not all. I don't think I've opened the books on stocks and bonds or mutual funds and annuities. We haven't gotten that far in our financial plan... :) I love the practical advice and her writing style has always appealed to me. Another great reference to keep on the shelf for whenever you have a financial question (and my husband surprised me with the set for $9.99 at Costco, you can't beat that!).
This set contains nine books that talk about different subjects, all involving personal finances. I found that the smaller books were easier to digest than if the material was in one large volume.
