Kim Clement was born September 30, 1956 in South Africa, in a nation divided by apartheid.
At the tender age of 17, Kim had found himself addicted to heroine, immersed in the drug and rock scene of the seventies. But one fateful night in 1974 changed the course of his life forever. He was in a bar, in the bathroom, overdosing on heroine when he was robbed and stabbed. He stumbled onto the street and fell into a ditch, feeling himself dying as he cried out the name of "Jesus". Just as he began to feel life leaving him, a hand reached out and lifted him from death. The hand belonged to a Christian man who shared the message of Christ with Kim. From that day forward, Kim was a follower of Christ and dedicated his life to sharing that precious message. Kim worked as a music director and youth pastor at various churches between 1976 and 1978. These were the years that Kim grew through experience. He worked as a counselor in a drug rehab center called Vital Link. He also worked with and trained mentally handicapped children, focusing on enhancing their coordination through teaching them music.
Jane Elizabeth Barnes stole Kim's heart in 1978, and they were married in Durban, South Africa that same year. They have shared 30 exciting years together and their five children are a testament of their love. Kim's work in his native land culminated in the co-founding and building of the first non-racial church in South Africa, The Lyric Christian Center. This work, established by Dr. Fred Roberts, defied the racial apartheid system and welcomed all races.
In 1981, Kim came to the United States to attend Christ for the Nations. Between 1981-1991, Kim traveled throughout the United States, returning 5 times a year to assist at Durban Christian Center in Durban, South Africa. In 1991, Kim moved with his family to the USA. After years of travel and ministering, Kim started "The Warriors of the New Millennium," an outreach based in Detroit, Michigan that focused on uplifting the wounded people within the City; this eventually spread throughout the United States.
Kim now resides in Southern California, with his family, and is pioneering a prophetic outreach called "Secrets".
"In this generation God is restoring the prophetic ministry to the church for the purpose of sharing the ways of God. I believe He wants us to understand His thoughts and what He is preparing for the days and years ahead. When God's people understand what tomorrow holds, I believe they will move boldly forward in the power of the Spirit." (Kim Clement, Secrets of the Prophetic, Page 181)
● Trump would become president of the United States ● Trump would become filled with the Spirit when he enters the office ● Trump would become a praying president. He will not be praying president at the start ● Trump would not be a religious person, but God would fool the people ● They will say "he has hot blood" ● Trump would bring the walls of protection on the USA ● The economy would change rapidly under a Trump administration ● Trump will be elected for two terms
If after watching these, you don't believe in the prophetic gift or the gift of the prophet, then I feel very sorry for you.
This book is part autobiographical and part teaching on the prophetic. I am always wary of titles that have the word "secret" in them, because "the secret is there are no secrets"; however, God does reveal mysteries (1 Corinthians 13:2) and we can understand knowledge and open up mysteries that very few know.
He begins this book by sharing how he was stabbed in front of a bar as a nonbeliever, and a minister came and helped him and ministered and spoke a prophetic word into his life. He then shares how he was converted and began going to church, how his prophetic ministry began, and then teaches on the prophetic ministry for the remainder of the book.
I think the best thing I learned from his book is that when God gives us a prophetic word, it is up to us to hold to that word and take the actions necessary to cause it to come to reality. Sometimes if we don't act on the prophetic word that God has given us, it will become unfruitful and die (1 Timothy 1:18); however, if we hold to these prophetic words, they act as visions that give us life and propel us forward in the things of God (Proverbs 29:18).
It was interesting to read about the life of Kim Clement and how the Lord worked in his life. He also gave interesting tips on trusting the Lord and hearing His voice..
The prophet of the old testament is different from the new testament o. The way to serve the Lord is still the same. He will give his word but the fulfillment depend on you, your faith in him, the words of your mouth, how you study his word, what you believe in. The Bible or God himself. You way of life. Who lay hands on you. What you put your hope on. Faith is very important too.
I repeat do not let anyone lay on you anyhow. Jesus told us their are fake prophet so be careful who pray or lay hands on you.
A life can be destroy by the laying of wrong hand or what your receives from the so called fake prophet.
Two types of PROPHETIC 1) from God or 2) from what they can see in the flesh or what you flesh want to happen.....
Go and read the new testament and understand the prophet of the new testament. They always glorified God not themselves or anyone else.
Thank you Kim Clement for explaining what prophet is and not.
Having listened to some of Kim's teachings and prophecies I had wondered about his background. Here it is and what a wonderful tale of redemption From the title I did expect more teaching on the gift of prophecy. There were a few chapters blended into the story but I hoped for more If you are familiar with Kim Clement and the gift of prophecy this is a must read
Very good book i really enjoyed it and would recommend it to all who need spiritual help
I would recommend this book to everyone.. Good book very insightful. I will pray for more faith to stand on Gods word no matter what is said or what it looks like.
Refreshing word from Kim Clement. To understand all that Father speaks to us. I’ve followed Kim for years. This book is basically his testimony. We all hear Fathers voice and can speak what He says.
This book is not only written well and easy to read, it is a!so anointed and will impart to the reader a sense of how available God is to each person if they will seek Him. There is so much knowledge given, I will need to re-read it again. A true blessing from the Lord.
