"Christ, Petal. You're heaven beneath me."
Max and Sara are getting adjusted to life as a married couple and as parents to their infant daughter, Annabel. These two are still very much in love and absolutely adore their little girl. They're embracing parenthood and try their hardest to find time for intimacy between them. Something is missing though. They've been refraining from the kinky side to their sex life that they used to have before the birth of Annabel, and it seems to be bothering them more than they let on about.
But when the two realize that they need to get back to the wild sex they used to have, they decide some time away from their daughter is what they need. So some of their lovely friends offer to babysit Annabel. Well, here's where all the comedic moments come into play. First George, and then Will and Hannah try their hand at babysitting, but all they end up doing is panicking poor Sara and Max with their frequent texts to them.
When they are just about to give up on the idea of getting some alone time, they get an angel in the form of Max's younger brother, Niall. Annabel is taken with her uncle from the moment they meet and he ends up being the most excellent baby sitter. This gives Max and Sara the chance to rekindle some of the kink that brought them together in the first place.
I loved getting to see how Max and Sara grew as a couple and how their love only flourished with the birth of their child. AND, I am already very much taken with Niall!! The man has a way with babies and from the teaser we get to "Beautiful Secret" at the end of the book, it looks like this man is going to make us swoon ladies!! He is compared to Mr Darcy!! ENOUGH SAID!!! I am SOOOOOOO looking forward to Niall's book, and am ready to swoon over the next contender for my Top Fantasy Book Boyfriend.

In this novella, Beautiful Stranger couple Max and Sara are already starting a new life as parents to their baby girl Annabel. Like most new parents, their adjustment period was not that easy but they were trying their best. I loved how real the scenarios were done in this short novel, how they still carry their lives in a fun, sweet way despite the changes. I also loved how dedicated Max and Sara were to each other that even if they're already becoming busier, they're still working hard to find time for intimacy.

5 "My first and fabulous audio book" Stars
I have 2 things to review. First, I have never listened to a book. I just didn't think it would work for me. I was SO SO Wrong!! I loved listening to this book while I was driving. I was on a 2.5 hr drive so I had the time and I was so surprised how much I loved listening to the story and it made my drive go super fast. I know without a doubt that I will definitely be purchasing more audio books when I have an out of town road trip!!
Now for this Amazing, Wonderful, Funny, Sexy, Swoony Worthy book. Max and Sara(Petal) and baby Annabel come together in this special novella that gives us a glance at how life is after Anna is born. I must mention that My Narrator Max had a dreamy British accent that kept me quite giddy. There was alternating POV's that made the story all the more better.
Max is the PERFECT husband and father. His love for his family is BEAUTIFUL. Life isn't easy after you have a baby. There are a lot of adjustments, lots of fears, and lots of mishaps. Sara is the PERFECT wife and mother as well. But as all new moms fear, our bodies change and we wonder if our husbands mind that change. There are lots of unknowns in the months after a baby is born, but you navigate the waters together and that is what we get to see with Max and Sara. Max and Sara had a wickedly wild sex life before the baby.....will that be gone now that Anna has entered their lives?
This book had it all- it was one of the best novella's I have read. It was just the perfect follow up to Beautiful Stranger. I will say that towards the end, there is a part where Max is talking about his love for Sara; maybe because it was an actual man speaking, professing his love, I found it to be so moving that I cried in the car. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL.
If you are a fan of Beautiful Stranger, this is a must read. And if you haven't discovered the Beautiful Bastard Series, it is a series that is absolutely awesome and I highly recommend!!

Yep. Max and Sara are still my favorite couple out of the beautifuls.
There is something special about coming back to old characters and realizing that you genuinely miss them. I have missed the Beautiful gang and it is always a treasure to get more of them. This story belongs to Sara and Max but we get to see a bunch of the crew from all of the Beautiful Books, as well as meet Niall Stella, brother of Max Stella.
Oh Maximillian Stella , the sexy British.. it is quite impossible for me to love him any more than I do right now.
Dear lord; I'm not really sure I want to have a kid after this book, it demand so much work and energy and I'm not sure I can handle all the stress that come with it ...Though if I had a man like Max and a babysitter like Niall I could easily change my mind
So this book is like one giant aching ovary inducing story. Max being cute with the baby. Will being cute with the baby. (I'm gonna need more of that. Thanks.) And it turns out Niall is basically a freaking baby whisperer. Holy crap. Not gonna lie...I would read a book that was only the men being all adorable with the baby.
I LOVED how the authors tackled the issue of what happens when you go from being a couple to being parents. What happens to your relationship? How do you "tend" to the marriage? It's a huge adjustment for Max and Sara individually and as a couple and I appreciated the care they took with that. Oh and freaking Niall Stella makes his first appearance... holy crap on a cracker. That man... I just cannot wait for that book.

This was a great addition to the series. I loved seeing Max and Sara navigate their new life with their beloved, Annabelle.
Embracing the changes but never losing sight of what brought them together.
This was some serious swoon-worthy stuff! But still had plenty of laughs and sexy good times!
We got to see a bit of the rest of the gang and most importantly meet the new Brit in town, Naill! Dying for his story!

this cover is misleading, she's not even pregnant.
at this point im just sad i took a two day detour to read all these novellas because they really don't matter. this one is a bridge novella between the original trilogy and newer add-on book, so I liked that it introduced Niall, but the rest of this was just kinda weird. I'm not a huge fan of romance book characters having children because it feels past my age range and I don't want kids so it's not something I find super relatable or romantic or cute, but this book was still fun sometimes. I also just really am over Max and Sara's public sex thing because it makes me uncomfy but different folks, different strokes.

I’m a fan of the Beautiful Bastard Series by Christina Lauren.
It’s witty, easy to read writing style, sexy, erotic and filled with quirky and endearing characters.
We get a peek into Max & Sara life as new parents of their gorgeous…naturally…baby daughter, Annabella.
I smiled a lot as I read this very short and quick story…..dealing with everyday life…nappies, milk, leaking boobies, broken sleep and the absolute love for their baby.
In between, Max and Sara try to get back to their smoking hot sex life after the birth of their daughter.
The dialogue was funny and witty which has been throughout this series.
I loved seeing Bennett & Chloe and Will & Hanna again…and of course, George!!!! He’s been one of my fav characters in this series…and guess what???…he makes the best babysitter of all of Max and Sara’s friends!!! No kidding!!!!
Having read the teaser for the next book in the series, Beautiful Secrets, which will feature another hot Stella brother, Niall, I am now eager to read his story. Hot, sexy English guy!!!! Can’t wait.

And of course, what's not to love when you have a hot British man who calls you Petal. **swoon** Max and Sara were the couple that took sexiness and steam to another level.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! Beautiful Beloved was full of humor, sexiness, steam, chemistry, and friendships. In this playful and delicious novella, Christina Lauren's fans will not be disappointed because these authors were able to write a witty, fun, and sexy story line. If I thought Max Stella couldn't get more sexier, I am so wrong!! This man is perfection in Beautiful Beloved. I am head over heels in love with him. 5 Big Get Your Groove Back Stars
I’d wanted to make things easy for her. I’d wanted her to feel safe and cherished. I closed my eyes, absorbed by the paradoxical sensations of relief when Sara began to quietly come beneath me, and the heartache in the realization that somewhere along the line, I had forgotten what she needed.
I'm hoping to write a beautiful, glowing review of this little ditty as soon as time permits. Just in case that doesn't happen in a timely matter, let me expound for a minute. I loved this book! The fact REAL issues were discussed as far as new parenting and getting the sexy on again was something I loved, having gone through it twice myself. I also loved the fact this book still remained a Christina Lauren, Beautiful book at heart. Max was still a dirty boy and Sara was a new mommy and an exhibitionist sexpot all rolled into one and I loved it!
Here's to what I'm sure will be a sexy as fuck Niall story next!

So cute! I loved having another story to get caught up with Sara and Max and of course baby Annabel. Not having any personal experience myself, I can only imagine that a lot of the issues Max and Sara faced were plausible. Trying to figure out how to reconnect with each other once you've had a baby between feelings, diapers and sleep sounds like it could be hard. These two had me laughing though witt their dating mishaps. I was beginning to feel some sexual frustration along with them until Nialls walks in. *Sigh* Another Stella brother and of course Annabel took to him right away. I'm looking forward to his book.

Sorry Will, I love you but after reading this I'm back to being madly in love with Max Stella. Max and Sara are my favorite couple in this series, and this little novella was just perfect. I loved the addition of the baby and how Max and Sara were trying to navigate the married life while still being madly in love with each other. The only thing is this was super short, but hey I'm only complaining because I just want more Max!
I was really disappointed in the Beautiful Beginning novella and I was ready to throw in the towel with this series, but Max renewed my love for it and I can't wait for his brother, Niall's story.
Overall, if you like this series then don't miss out on this little gem.

This is a sweet, little novella of Max and Sara after the birth of their baby girl, Annabel, and how they are trying to figure out things in their lives.
I'm a little surprised that I'm saying this but I just didn't really care about the sex scenes! Well, except the times when they were trying to get things going and life was interrupting them.
That's the part I enjoyed...them just trying to figure out life. Seeing and accepting the changes of being parents and just going with the flow. I really didn't want them to be the way they were before.
Will is just sooo hilarious especially his texts and pictures. OMG...what Sara sent him? I would die!!
But helloooo Niall! Hmmmm...me likey what we've found out so far. It's made me really interested to read his book!

Really really enjoyed this one!! .
If you haven't read Beautiful Stranger, there may be spoilers in my review.
"Beautiful Beloved" is about Max and Sara (book two); though they're not my favorite couple in this series (my fav is Will and Hannah), this read was so funny and enjoyable, just what I needed at the moment.
"You're pretty sexy when you're domestic" I told him, running a hand up the back of his thigh.

"You're shirtless with the world's sweetest baby cuddled on those muscles. Put a shirt on, you beast, or I can't be held responsible for my actions."
Plus, Will (book three) was in this one and the scenes with him were so funny!!
As carefully as I could, I unhooked the carrier behind my neck and let it fall so I could lay Anna down on the couch beside Will. She startled- both arms and both legs flying out in a spasm- but then immediately fell back asleep.
For his part, Will looked like I'd just put a giant hollow eggshell near him. His hands were clasped in his lap and his eyes were trained on the baby as if she might suddenly roll and explode.
If you plan to read Beautiful Secret when it comes out, you should read this novella first, because in this one we meet Niall and we learn a little about his story.
I'm sure you're going to love him, he's Brit and I can already say that he's a real charmer.
I have high hopes for his book and I have a feeling that it will be amazing!

Perfect! I didn't even know how much I missed Max & Will & Bennett until I saw them again! SOOO adorable how they all act around the new baby.

I 've luvd this series so much so when I found out we were getting more I was so excited an then when I found out it was goin 2 b Max an Sara I was just so delighted
Max an Sara have been my fave in this series don't get me wrong I luv everyone in this series but Max is just so hot an sexy an I luv it we get 2 c Max an Sara a lil different in this book they have there gorgeous lil girl Annabel now an they seem 2 b doin so well we al now how hot these 2 can get an they have lost that but they need a bit of what they had b4 Annabel an tryin 2 get a lil time 2 be Max an Sara instead of mum an dad an findin babysitter an time it's just hard but 2 me there sexy time is still hotter than ever I d luv a bit of Max ;)
This book still as al the gang which I was delighted with an we got a lil peek at Niall hmmmm an he is quite a nice piece of ass an he us great with kids what more could u want this book just made me want beautiful secret rite now I don't want 2 wait :( yet I just glad a lil stomp ;)

You know what I can’t get enough of? Max Stella. Jesus that man. One “bloody” or “brilliant” and the panties just disappear.
Beautiful Beloved is the story of Max and Sara as they learn to come to terms with the way their life is going to have to change with their role as parents. But Sara and Max aren’t ready to call it quits on the crazy sex antics, they just have to find their rhythm again.
But what’s better than one Stella? Two. We meet Niall Stella towards the end of this novella which serves as a perfect introduction for his story which we’ll get in April 2015 with Beautiful Secret.
I flove this series. I remember when Beautiful Bastard was released, it was my birthday and I took the day off of work to seriously read this book. I knew I was going to love it. Not a single doubt. I fell in love with the style that Christina and Lauren bring to their writing. They rock this co-authorship like nobody’s business. From the first character to the very last, I can’t get enough. They fill these pages with moments that make you swoon, laugh out loud and sweat like a whore in church.
Like a lot of authors, these two women gained their inspiration from Twilight, and I could give two shits about this fan-fiction-hating-bullshit that exists, because if anyone sits down and actually reads the stories these women write, they would see the talent that exists. Every author gains inspiration from somewhere, it however is the talent that allowed these two to take that inspiration and make it their success.
I look forward to devouring every single things these ladies write.

This story follows up with Max and Sara Stella and their newest Stella - Annabel. It's a perfectly written little gem of a story about how these adventurously sexual couple traverse their new lives with a newborn. They're dealing with issues that comes with sleeplessness, work schedules, insecurities, worry, and how to navigate their love lives once again. But one thing Sara and Max do not ever lack is love. They love each other more than ever. They love their lives together. It's just a matter of readjusting and figuring out what and how things work for them now.
And if you thought Max was sexy in Beautiful Stranger...he's sexier as a loving doting father. Mix that in with his love of Sara and their love for some sexual adventure and you have the most perfect man!
But what makes this special is that it's written so superbly by one of my top favorite writing duo - CHRISTINE LAUREN! The dynamic duo writes this novella with so much heart, loads of humor, and the right amount of sexy!!! Their characters come alive and the dialogues, the scenes, the emotions all feel real and tangible.
They can do no wrong in my eyes and they only get better and better!!!
We also meet Max's brother Niall and I'm already salivating for him...ah...his story. I can't wait!

Super-sexy, but very tender and funny short story featuring Max and Sara. A yummy story that Christina Lauren fans will devour! These two prove that parenthood is certainly not for the faint of heart but it can be beautiful, messy and filled to the brim with love.
This story explores motherhood, work, finding a balance in your marriage and friendship and more in just a short, quick read. I loved the appearance of some very sexy characters, and cannot wait for more books from this writing duo!!

I admit that I love this series. It is dirty and hot and sexy and most of the time just wow.
However I'm no longer entrenched in the M/F world and I don't know if this influences my rating (I'm sure it does). Regardless I probably could have done without this little detour into Max and Sara's life post baby. But since I'm still pathological most of the time, I have to read a series completely and thoroughly especially since it segues into the next book Beautiful Secret.
In the end, this really didn't do much for me as they are foiled again and again and again….so much so that it became quite ridiculous how these two could never finish anything they got started.
Smexy enough, just not as good as the other parts in this series. However this does introduce Niall whose book I'll read probably soonish.

Beautiful Beloved brings us Max and Sarah back and that alone should make you drop whatever it is you are doing and go get it! Because… yeah…Max!
I absolutely adored this novella. It wasn’t just your typical happy follow up to the happy ending. Max and Sarah’s life has changed with the arrival of Annabelle and they will have to adjust to being parents, but most importantly reconnect with each other.
Children are wonderful, but they are also messy life altering tiny humans. Max and Sarah are smitten with Anna but they are trying to find that balance in their love life, work life and parenthood that seems to have spun outta control over the past 4 months.
Sleepless nights and a crying baby at the most inopportune moments.
The search for someone to babysit so they can go on a date is only half the battle, the other half is not thinking about the baby the whole time they are out.
Beautiful Beloved is witty (there are some hilarious moments that had me laughing out loud), but there is also tender and sweet moments. Oh wait! Did I mention hot? If you thought Max and Sarah were wild before well you are in for a treat. Becoming a parent has introduced them to each other in a whole different light. At the beginning it’s hard to fall back into the easy, carefree, wild dynamic they always had but once they find their balance things get pretty intense.
The bonus is that we get to meet Niall, and he was there for less than 5 pages and he had me seriously swooning! I’m not sure my heart can handle two Stella boys!
Once again Christina Lauren doesn’t disappoint! This series just keeps on getting better and better!

This book makes me want to get knocked up all over again – as long as it was Max Stella doing the job. I swear, if you’ve never wanted to be impregnated by Max, this is the book that will do it! God damn! As if the sexy Brit wasn’t amazing enough, his protectiveness love and utter adoration of his wife and their new baby is something to behold, and it made me fall in love with him all over again.
This book is set four months after the birth of Max and Sara’s daughter, and shows the new parents in love with their new baby, and trying to get their groove back as husband and wife.
I love these two together. They still share an easy, teasing relationship, and they haven’t lost any of their passion for each other, it’s just the practicality of it that they’re having trouble with as they juggle the demands of a baby with trying to find time together.
This little novella is steamy as all hell. Even married with a baby, Max and Sara are still mad with lust for each other, and still needing that extra edge to their sex life that they find with exhibitionism. Even their ‘almost’ situations are crazy hot. But it’s also beautifully sweet as we see them in their role as parents, and working hard to be everything they can to each other.
There’s some Bennet and Chloe, and Will and Hanna (love them), and as a bonus, we also get to meet Max’s brother, Niall, hero of the next book. His backstory is interesting, and I cannot wait to get to know him better.
This is a must read for fans of the series. Sweet, swoony, funny and super steamy. I loved it.
