Keeping in mind that Death's Memory is a short story it had a pretty good premise. However, this is one of those short stories that I think would have better either a little bit longer or as a book. It being a short story did not give it the detail that it needed to be a truly entertaining read. The idea of a person waking up next to a dead body and not remembering anything about that night or who they are prior to waking up, is a really good idea, however it needs depth. It left the reader with more questions that it should have and it just kind of ended. If a reader has a few minutes and wants a book that is a quick read, that leaves with questions to the point of frustration, then this is the book for them.
