An all-new work on home hydroponic gardening with an abundance of new information, written for easy reading and productive action. Dr. Resh, leading hydroponics consultant and author, shows home gardeners how to grow fruits and vegetables in a clean, nutritionally enriched, soilless medium . . . how to say goodbye to problems of infertile or infested soil, weeds, pests . . . how to give plants super nutrition for super growth, appearance, and quality. Scores of photographs, drawings, and diagrams make it easy to have a variety of gardens a simple home hydroponic window or deck trays or containers, or full-scale hydroponic gardens or small, home greenhouse projects. Illustrated.
A good little book though lightly dated. I think there is an updated version but I haven't found it to see if it has higher picture quality for example (the black and white pictures are pretty limited in showing plant diseases, etc.)
This would be a great companion to a weekend course in hydroponic gardening. I'll have to do some trial and error work for sure.
This felt kind of middle of the road to me, not truly a beginner book but also not too advanced. It was decent for me as I am just reading it to get a better understanding for ideas I can implement - my business partners already have experience with this. I've heard How-To Hydroponic is good if you're truly a beginner trying to start out, but I don't think this one would help you in the same way.
