Sutherland's book is the perfect introduction, a carefully balanced blend of history, personal experience, research, and advice for the beginning hydroponicker. This short book is a handy starting point, but does not include solution recipes/mixtures, or diagrams and schematics for set ups, instead opting for pictures. This may be frustrating to some, but is perfect for anyone starting out from square one. The writing style is casual, smooth and easy.
