Primal Instincts: Volume 2
I am only one week into my new job at Primal Instincts, LLC, when I realize super sleuth is not something I will be adding to my resume anytime soon.
Although I’m still on my mission to uncover the truth about the secret kink club I suspect exists and is somehow tied to my employer, I find myself with more pressing things to deal with than solving that mystery. Between balancing the work assignment I’ve been given and the change in my current dating status, the only time I have left is spent dealing with a dominating, manipulative, not to mention sexy, man who has me in his crosshairs.
Unfortunately, the aforementioned dominating man starts the dominoes falling when his manipulation puts me in a vulnerable position.
It’s crazy what can happen in a week.

This is the 2nd volume in this story about Journey and her men. This book shows how Garrison gets involved with Journey. I really enjoyed him and loved the fact he is a Walker. I loved when he was telling her about his family since I knew what he was talking about. I'm really enjoying how each one of these men are so different. Can't wait to see how this story all comes together as right now these are all separate relationships.

This volume of the Primal Instincts story allows the reader to get to know Garrison a bit better. Although he is introduced and plays a part in Volume 1, he wasn’t as prominent as Creed and Hawk in that book. Journey gets to spend a lot of time with Garrison in this story and they have just as much of a connection as she has with the other two men.
A quick reminder that the author is releasing this story as a serial every 2 weeks or so with each installment coming in at more than 200 pages. So while there is no resolution at the end of each book, and I’m sure there will be some cliffhangers in there along the way, there isn’t a long wait to find out what happens next each time. Anyway…
I’m enjoying the fact that these three men whom Journey is getting involved with not only have distinct personalities, but the connection they have with Journey is different for each. That’s not always easy to pull off, but I feel the author is doing an incredible job so far.
While Garrison is prominent in this book, Journey’s best friend is virtually MIA. This bothered me a bit with some of the things Journey is going through in this leg of her journey, yet there is a brief explanation that rings true. I just would have liked to get to know her better and for Journey to have had an ear to bend about her confusion with the three men and their antics.
Journey’s work life has not gotten any easier. The creepy guy has gotten creepier, and the jealous co-workers haven’t exactly been warm and inviting. But much is happening on that front, which is part of why I wish Journey had someone to talk to.
Although this is only the second volume in this serial, I’m fully invested. This is touted as a harem story and so far, while there has been some spice, the story hasn’t delved too deeply into the BDSM aspect of the lives of the men or the multiple-partner scenario that is sure to be coming. That just makes me anticipate the future books even more.

The heat and complexities of the relationships between Journey, Creed, Hawk and Garrison are ramping up in this second volume of this Primal Instincts series. Garrison and Journey have a front row seat in this book as their relationship gets started with Creed still pulling strings with Hawk by his side. But make no mistake, Creed may have manipulated the events between Journey and Garrison but he still wants her badly! And so does Hawk!
I am thoroughly enjoying the push and pull, the give and take, and the serious chemistry flowing between Journey, Creed, Hawk and Garrison. I feel like this story is all foreplay for what is still coming in this series and I cannot wait to see how it continues to play out!

Primal Instincts: Volumes 1-9
When Volume 1 came out I was intrigued, so I read it and was captivated! Since I am a fan of reading an entire saga at one time I patiently (not so patiently) collected all of them until after volume 9 was released. The story line holds your interest through out. As soon as one volume is complete you move to the next trying to figure out the newest twist and turn of all the intertwining lines. Once again, Nicole Edwards has done a wonderful job dealing not only with today's different lifestyles, but also addresses issues that have been occurring in the work place more and more frequently. Thank you!
I can not wait until the next time she releases a new book!

Hot!! Hot!! Hot!!
Only 2 books in for this series and I am completely addicted. This volume is full of melt your panties scenes. Creed is so perfectly portrayed as the alpha dom, I want to obey just reading his commands. I loved getting to know more about Garrison in this book. Who doesn't love a Walker?! Added bonus of characters from Nicole's other series being mentioned or making an appearance really ties everything together, making this fictional world seem so realistic. I thoroughly enjoyed every single page of this book and will be patiently waiting for the next.

I'm a mostly M/M reader. But for Nicole Edwards I step out of my box. Her books with MMF started me on my M/M journey many years ago. She also has amazing M/M books that are just great. I downloaded the first book of this series and just loved the character building. I knew that I would love it and immediately "one-clicked" the books that are currently out for pre-order. Ms. Edwards usually doesn't do KU (which I live by) so this is a great opportunity for those like me to borrow this series on KU while it's there. I highly recommend this series. Enjoy!

I am so curious to when this is going to get more into all four men sitting her down and getting to the nitty gritty. I mean she has three on the hook and now Nick has surprised me and I’m like whoa. I didn’t see him coming in this soon. I saw him with her best friend for a while. Color me curious as to what is going to happen to Wayne and when her parents find out. Bring on more. Thank God they are releasing them every couple weeks because I am living for this series. Edwards has really found her niche in writing BDSM.

Ooooo! This series is getting goooood & HOT! You get a little more of Garrison Walker in it, making it REALLY hard to pick which man to like more. Although Creed is still a little cranky and torn, he opens up a little more in this one. Journey is still her sassy self, although she’s a little freaked out in the beginning. I can’t wait to read more Volumes to find out where Nicole will be taking these characters. Her Primal Instinct Volumes have MF, MM and I can see some MFM or MMF coming because she writes it so well. Looking forward to volume 3 this Friday!

Perfect release dates in terms of reading, but excellent if done continuously. Again, no real cliffhanger but an entry to Volume 3.
This will be quite a ‘Journey’.

Awesome book, awesome series, seriously awesome author.
Folks, you gotta get in on this series. There's gonna be several installments but the price is perfect for a continuing story. This is classic Nicole Edwards with a touch of something new thrown into the mix. There's only been 2 installments so far but I'm here to tell you I cannot wait for the next one.
Hope you all find them as mesmerizing as I do.

Holy hotness x 3!
I loved this episode in the Journey, Hawk, Garrison and Creed saga! I'm always true to my nature and I'd definitely choose Creed! But to have all three would be icing on the cake! Hawk ex MMA fighter, Garrison Walker need I say more...he is a Walker!! If your a Nicole Edwards fan then you know what I mean! And Creed the alpha Dom! interesting story unfolding
I’m enjoying the way this story is unfolding but must say I feel like Journey isn’t grasping as to what she’s doing. For someone who claims to have had only one relationship in high school she seems very experienced on how to juggle men. Props to her. The one I feel sorry for his Hawk. He needs some love. I hope this series doesn’t just go on and on. I’d like to get one book where they are on the same page.

I wanted the drama
I wanted the big showdown between her and her sleezy co worker. I want her to stand up to these men and demand answers. This angsty I want whoever I'm currently with style is dragging a bit. They all need to be grown ups and talk, especially since this is all supposed to happen within a week!?!

Well I got my wish from my review of book 1, I got more from Garrison Walker. How I missed it that he is one of those famous “Walker” cousins, I don’t know. He tells you in this book, with his Texas drawl calling Journey “darlin” and boy did they sure have some hot and racy scenes.
And let’s not forget about Creed and Hawk. There’s something more with them that I can’t wait to indulge into the “relationship”!! That one scene was hot!
When they all have dinner together, including Nick, there was quite interesting conversations.
And now we have trouble brewing for Journey with her work associate, Wayne aka donkey 🕳️!!
I am starting to get addicted to this series, anxiously awaiting the next installment.

Whew!
Volume 2 got intense! So much heat being contained. An Alpha trying to navigate his way through some new emotions. A loyal Dominant trying to not disrespect the Alpha, but falling for the Alpha's intended prey. A submissive who has strong Alpha traits. A bratty submissive who won't admit she is. About to start Volume 3 right now! A good read!

Not quite what I was expecting.
I am enjoying this story but it’s not quite what I was expecting. These 3 men are being gentlemanly for her and I was figuring we would have some quarrels going on. Hawk is showing the most emotion out of them. Creed seems to be out of character to me at the moment.

Slow Burn
Primal Instincts Volume 2 is more of our favorite character’s Journey, Creed, Garrison, and Hawk. I love the slow burn. I started it and didn’t stop reading until I finished it. Can’t wait for part 3!!

I love all the books written by Nicole Edwards. It's a bit of a long story, but it's worth getting to the last part. Thank you for making us happy with another story. I hope there will be many more Nicole Edwards books to enjoy.
