Some decent, nice designs...but, repetitious. While flipping through it when I received it, I was able to do my usual, which is; add stickies to pages I want to revisit later for inspiration. However, there are more books out there that are far better, that fall into this category. I'll re-edit this review at a later time when I can offer some other suggestions. (Having a ”Jewelry and Beading” book library of over 150 books), I'll need to check thru my stock to pick out those that I can suggest, that are better. Don't get me wrong, it's a good book and I'd recommend getting it, but I would say, get it discounted. Not worth the suggested retail $. (& I'm a fan of the author, just think this one was mediocre) For example, many of these designs could probably be found online, via free tutorials.
The best book that I have seen by far for jewelry making and one if my favorites. Great tips, fun designs with step by step written instructions and awesome pictures to go with the end product as well as pictures for each step. I will be adding this to my wish list on Amazon and send it to my family and friends and my husband. Maybe one of them will buy it for me so I can add it to my bookshelf and so that I cantry my hand at some of the projects shown.
Good book with many jewelry designs. Nice color pictures with instructions on 2-3 pages. Didn't have it borrowed from library long enough and will need to borrow again to completed designs on page 132,142,152,155,156,169.
