Pilinski’s book about understanding the romantic needs of women is well written with lots of good advice. As a matter of fact, written mainly from the point of view of how to get women to invite you into their beds, it gives good advice for getting to meet everybody—both men and women. It far exceeds the title of the book and for that I am grateful. He shows at men and women look at, test, and determine the worthiness of mates in a very different fashion which is very helpful. Enjoyed it.

- First step: Charisma, it is about making the other person feeling good about themselves as a direct result of having encountered you (often through the forms of flattery). This applies to relationship of all sorts: we all want to be with someone we feel happy with and want to avoid ones we feel negatively with. Thus, encounter others, make sure your charm matches each other. Make sure both of you can flatter each other and avoid unreciprocated charisma

- Second step: Common ground. Moving pass charisma your goal should be looking for common interests as fast as possible. If you simply can't find it, move on

- The best way to keep a woman interested in you is to get her talking about herself

- We tend to internalize too much in addition to be too harsh on ourselves: we negative-talk ourselves out of something we think would hurt us (our ego or physically)

- Women grade men in terms of their position in the society (whereas boys oftentimes grade females solely based on appearance)

- While physical appearance is important for women, they're not everything

- Female mating call: always non-verbal. It would often be in the form of a gaze or smile: women are the ones who choose the male, AND set the mating dance into motion

- Respect human biology: sometimes women simply find a men unattractive due to biology. Don't fight it, don't irrationalize it. Respect it and move on (plus, you two might be friends! Always great to have more friends)

- Never communicate "desirability" by directly proclaiming it: if you're high status, you are high status (author compares that to an unattractive female proclaiming she is attractive: everyone with eyesight would see, they don't need the female to proclaim)

- You want the label of "risk-taker" at any cost

- Desperation to succeed only attracts total failure - relax! You must see the mating ritual as a fun process, not a required result
