This was THE weirdest book I have read in a while. It was hard to follow, because the character keep saying she knew the main character. yet he never recallled ever meeting her.... Apparently she had a husband with his same name that died at some point. Then he end up having an affair with her consequently losing his wife. Then the character starts talking bout leaving, and she is from another time, planet country, I cant really tell which she is refferring to !!! I was like REALLY ???? where is this going. Ultimately she gets pregnant, leaves or disappears I dont know... The police think he has something to do with it..... WEIRD !!! Oh yeah its set in Lousiana if that helps it to make sense.

I kept reading only to try to figure out how Chase and Ava know each other and to get to the ending........I was totally disappointed.
So we are to just go along with this parallel universe thing and the advanced pregnancy? I'm sorry but NO!!!!!
This story had great potential but I was not aware that this was a fantasy/sci-fi read. I was disappointed with everything.

I really enjoyed this book and it was a fast read. I couldn't put it down, I just had to know what would happen. I wish they could've been together, but at least she help him find his passion.

They say do not judge a book by its cover, but in Piano in the Dark by Eric Pete readers will find out that this should have been the case. Chase is a loving husband who has a successful career in law. Chase is dealing with some feelings of being unfulfilled until he meets an unlikely stranger.

While out with his best friend, Jacobi, Chase meets Ava, a woman claiming to be from his past. The only problem is that Chase has no clue who Ava is or how she knows him. As their paths continue to cross so does their desires for each other, which sparks an intense affair. It is true that everything that looks good to you is not good for you and Chase will learn this the hard way. When everything starts unraveling in front of Chase's eyes he will have to make some harsh decisions about his life?

Piano in the Dark is a suspenseful story about how the past can affect the future. The author has brought forth a new twist to the drama and mystery genre. This book had me continuously guessing about solutions to the main characters' issues. It was a page-turning book of entertainment and readers will be shocked with the ending. I recommend Piano in the Dark to others.

Different. If you like stories about parallel worlds I think you will enjoy this story.

What held my attention is the way Chase's life spiralled out of control. Granted I don't think he was ever truely happy but one chance meeting with Ava and it was all downhill from there, or up depending on how you feel I guess.

Chase is a married paralegal who's wife wants him to take the bar and become a lawyer since he carries his friend Jacobi anyway. Chase refuses and continues on till one night he meets Ava after drinking in a bar with Jacobi. Ava remembers him from the past but he can't seem to place her and he is drawn to her like a moth to a flame.

After a couple of car accidents, reuniting with is father, a art show gone terribly wrong and betrayal from his friend and some betraying of his own, Chase finally starts to piece things together.

This book is so hard for me to get into... I'm interested to know how Ava knows him buy the story itself is not keeping me focused! Others may feel differently though! I'll continue to read on though to see what happens!
