I was lucky enough to find a copy of the original book published in 1968. Of course, dream interpretations and the psychic connection, intertwined with spirituality are things we openly discuss today, but I imagine coming across this book in the time it was written. Such wonderful insights he generously shared with us. I personally don't think there's any way dreams can be interpreted the same for two people. I think they are likely unique to us individually. Still, this book gifts us with perspectives to consider. I find the most helpful part to be Chapter 18, Lessons in Living Through Dreams. The first line of the chapter:
"The need to hold fast to one's spiritual courage is illustrated in this dream: ..."
I do resonate with many of the example dreams Cayce gives, accompanied by his interpretations and found them helpful. The rabbit hole of dream analyzation is infinitely exciting to me, and if you find it to be essential stimulation as well, you'll want this book in your collection.

This is a great book I would recommend to anyone serious about their dreams. In the 17 years I worked in a library I was able to read and actual study more than 40 books about subjects based on the Edgar Cayce Readings. They were instrumental in changing my life for the better in every way. Dreams were always a central part of living life for me. The Cayce Readings acknowledge dreams as "spiritual messages." There are other schools of thought on dreams that see dreams only as worldly, material expressions that are insignificant. It becomes a choice then, whether dreams are insignificant or are they messages in symbolic form? After 27 years of interpreting dreams I am convinced they are spiritual and reflect significant matters in our lives.
This book is worth reading. Some knowlege is truly priceless. Dreams can give us that priceless information free of charge. The only payment is our willingness to know.

This was published WAY before 2000, but no older versions appeared here.

This was a cool book. I like how there are multiple ways of interpreting dreams and it isn't just a huge list of what symbols stand for. Your dreams are your own dreams and have their own meanings.

Currently re-reading. One of the best on Dream awareness, guidance and interpretation. Highly recommend this. Only book you will need and appreciate on this subject based on Edgar Cayce.
