After my prostate cancer diagnosis, this book became my “bible” for healthy nutritional eating, supplementation and remedial treatments. The medical industry almost killed me and my healthy living and natural healing and immune system strengthening saved me. It is a constant resource. I read and study it regularly. I’m on my second cover to cover read.

Tons of information on how cancer actually functions, some of the causes, the differentials between various types.... very useful.

Information (some of which I already knew, some I did not) on using herbs and vegets and supplements to fight and prevent cancer - (happy happy science) - as well as how some can work with conventional therapies - both in dealing with cancer as well as in lessening the side effects of said conventional therapies.

A wealth of information.

This is an excellent sourcebook for anyone wanting to understand how herbs help cure (and prevent) cancer. The author is extremely knowledgeable about cancer from both the allopathic and naturopathic realms and offers advice for all patients regardless of their choice of treatment. His approach is not the typical one-size-fits all and he offers advice for the many different stages of cancer and treatment. His respectful tone is particularly engaging and I feel this is the kind of book I will refer to many times in the years to come.

If you have not had any treament or surgery for your cancer, read this book immediately. Yance offers advice about how to prepare your immune system for surgery or eliminate it altogether (if appropriate). I wish I had this information before my surgery and hope this book helps someone make a more informed decision.

I have this book with bookmarks everywhere. Truly useful and informative. I found the section on blood chemistry really good considering it is difficult to find in most books. I found the breakdown on minerals, herbs and supplements comprehensive and specific to cancer healing.

FANTASTIC resource!! Used this with Grace to get more info on what her nutritionist was prescribing, used it with Gordon to see what he should be taking. The downside was that they weren't good with amounts to take of the various supplements, but honesty, that is a nutritionist's job anyway.

The information in this book is excellent. The way it's presented and organized, however, makes it impossible to use this as a reference book. You really have to read through the entire book and take notes on the information relevant to your situation.
