The world has changed. Thus, it is important that the young should be grounded in moral principles whose appeal remains permanent. The book has been re-structured. The first half focuses extensively on theories – virtue, obligation, utilitarianism, natural law, and moral value. The second half will concentrate on applied issues – social justice and political ethics, development ethics, world poverty and lastly, climate change. Hence, the approach is well-defined.
