Fr. Anselm (William) Romb was received into St. Bonaventure Novitiate, Lake Forest, IL on August 10, 1947. He made his first profession on vows on August 12, 1948 and his Solemn Profession on August 12, 1951.

Fr. Anselm was ordained to the priesthood on June 2, 1956 at St. Paul, MN. His Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving was offered on June 10, 1956 at St. Ferdinand Church, Chicago, IL.
