11/26/24 ok so THIS WAS SUCH A DELIGHTFUL BOOK! Pretty much everything about it was just so freaking fun! The only "ugh" were FL's half sister and grandma and ... well that's all resolved. This was one where I DESPERATELY wanted more. LOL I think I actually screamed when I reached the end. Literally "NOOOO" and I checked if there was anything more from the author and it seems NU has nothing else and I was crushed. [Nothing finished, and worse, nothing historical] Saddest panda.
So this was a premise I don't think I've read before though I've seen it in dramas and donghua. Who would think of a soul swap, right? And it just so fit that each filled in the other's weakness(es). PLUS! That FL had saved ML in the past [lol lowkey still mad she never tell him she didn't go back because she fell ill]. I ... >.> so books are running a smidge together ... but ... was FL really attracted to ML? And ... ok so "one flaw" was the relationship development/utter lack thereof - but their UNDERSTANDING of each other was pretty great - and of the other's circumstances. Literally was in the other's body.
The only reason why it took me "so long" to read this book because I took a day or two to finished rewatching TBOY and rewatch some of Blossoms in Adversity.
I am definitely going to re-read this book and it's my second "this book is a warm hug" in the cnovel journey. Such fun, such a pick me up. Inject it into my veins.

FL goes despite her family being estranged cuz gma hates her mom, arrives from the fucking BORDER to see her gma the picture of health, being told she is of marriageable age & that’s why her grandmother summoned her & being stuck in a dilapidated courtyard?! AYFKM?!? Barely even talks to her?!

C2 so … the “sickly” fur young master Gu is Gu FengJian (ML) and he’s now in FL’s body? 🫠

This is the cutest fluffiest body swap romance I have ever read. The romance is so good in this!! I love both the main characters and the side characters! The friendships and romance are so cute and fluffy and wholesome.
