With all due respect to the writer, I felt like this book hasn't been proofread. There were some English mistakes that even I, as a non native English speaker, noticed that felt off — such as confusing "they're" and "their."

The book was also pretty repetitive in the later chapters when explaining how to set up an investigation, etc. The first chapter was the most interesting, with it delving into some theories that really set me thinking. I would've liked more of that, instead of the repeating of which instruments to take with you.
