Veiled Deception picks up right where the last story left off
-- continuing Rebecca's psychological downfall. With every chapter, Amy Romine ups the ante, increasing the drama from both the love triangle and the twisted tactics of her stalker's actions. I was not disappointed as Eric and Charlie moved into the limelight, showing more about their personalities and showing just how far they would each go for Rebecca's sake.

I must say that the descriptions about the bad guy's motivations left the CSI side of me wanting something a bit more substantial.(Maybe book 3 will hand it to me) But for a romance, there is plenty of plot and action to keep your gears turning.

Book 2 - Like the middle of any three act play there is darkness in the middle. This is a dark section of the story with loss, ramifications that must be faced and pain. However, Ms Romine shows that if you are with the one you love you can make it through it all. You can tell she loves this tale as she has so carefully crafted the weaving of suspense and romance. She brings them both forth proudly equal, and even leaves us panting between the sheets at times. A perfect book two in a trilogy. Magnificent yet again!

It just kept going. She picks up right where book one leaves off and she doesn't let go until the last page. I just love the couple, Rebecca and Eric. You can feel how much they love each other. I haven't been this excited about a book or a series in a long time. There is not one page I don't love. Amy Romine packs it all in and makes it unbelievable, and impossible to put down.

Read it, I highly recommend it.

A SUSPENSE THAT WILL KEEP YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT !!!

A physotic stalker - killer is on the loose, teasing Rebecca tanting her and sending her into a depth she never wanted to find. She is on the run for her life, every corner she turns he has been their. A love triange, thrills and turns , unexpected events leaving you unsure of where this story is headed. Rebecca's life is torn upside down, she is being stalked and harrased by a serial killer and still no one knows why. She is put into protective care where Eric watchers her, protects her but can he leave his heart where it is? Loyalties are tested, love is challenged and the mystery still unsolved as to why.

Amy has created a world of twists and turns, a roller coaster ride sending you to a peak then to roll back down to find more mystery and suspense. A compelling story of courage and determination, horror and sadness, and love is defined.

The story runs smoothly, no lags no stops where you felt you were bored, an uphill rollercoaster, filled with suspense , murder, mystery and intrigue. Character development was present, new characters introduced, and face paced action. Romance was * hawt* and sensual, yet electricfying, realistic and mushy but all the right way ! I love a good love story - thriller >> It was like watching a movie. !

Book 2 comes to a sudden halt !!! Your left wandering what is going to happen next, Im so glad the next book is out in two days I dont think I could last Im waiting with eager anticpation !!!

A great read !! Romantic thriller filled with all luscioius goodies yet filled with that perfect amount of excitment and thrills.

Eric and Rebecca are back in the second book in the chilling series “Trust Me.” If you haven't read the first book, I suggest you stop reading this review and go read it now!!
Just when we thought things would calm down a bit, Rebecca returns home and finds her home covered in blood. The stalker has returned! Even worse, she keeps pulling herself away from Charlie because she still can't decide whom she'd rather be with. Eric keeps driving himself crazy while trying to figure out his feelings for Rebecca all while trying to keep her safe. When Rebecca's sister Lucy calls because she needs to speak with her, Rebecca rushes to meet her, but when she arrives, she becomes face to face with the person behind the stalking!! Will Rebecca and Eric finally be together? What is the stalker doing to do next? Why did Lucy suddenly need to see Rebecca immediately? Will Rebecca finally get a break? Why does Lucy need their mothers locket?

This series has left me wanting more and more from Amy Romine. You can tell you're reading and connecting with the book when you get so mad at certain characters that you just want to yell at them! The details are so spot on that it's like your living it, not reading it. Amazing book for all readers that love thriller suspense erotic novels!

The Trust Me series takes the reader on a journey of love, honor, trust and family. A love triangle and the intrigue of a psychotic stalker serve as the compelling backdrop to fate's whims. It twists and turns in an unexpected and abrupt velocity like any enthralling suspense should.

-The manner in which Amy J. Romine goes about illuminating the background and the multiple connections is intriguing to say the least. Each block carefully built on top of the other until the structure is irrevocably one piece. The many divergent events slowly begin to coalesce and we begin to see the whole picture...or at least as much as the author is willing to show us. Can you say tease? Ms. Romine certainly knows how to do it... Michele & Jeff review excerpt, book 1 Serenity Lost

“Amy truly takes you on a ride with this fast paced, mystery/romance thriller that has so many twists and turns that when you think you figured it out – something else happens. Will Eric ignore family value with his brother and go after Rebecca, or will the craze psychopath get
to her first? This is only the beginning…” Trust Me Book 1 - Serenity Lost - 4 Stars Written by: Kia Meriwether Read more of this review @ http://thewritersvibe.webs.com/wvrevi...

One drawback to Veiled Deception is it hits the ground running and leaves the reader in the dark. It would be best to read the first book to understand the storyline and the relationship between the characters, or you will be half way through Veiled Deception before the fog will begin to clear. Ms.Romine has a solid writing voice but Veiled Deception left me feeling lost and wanting. I would recommend if you are interested in the Trust Me series that you start from the beginning.

Book 2 -- WOW and I though book 1 was action packed. Naw..that was just the teaser it seems. The author picked up the momentum and drives it like a train through the mall. I am afraid to say anything more because I don't want to give anything away. The intense scenes are explosive and realistic. The conversation is realistic and so are the emotions and reactions. WOW.
