The more you read of this series the better it gets I really loved this book it had everything action, drama, mystery and most important romance. Osten and CJ's lover story is something to read when you finish this story you will be like me ready to read the next story of the wonderful Megalodon team.
Disliked: Editing, transition between character POV, many things seemed rushed (could have developed more for a meatier read)
Liked: Everything else.
This was a good story. I agree with another reader who stated that the books seem to get progressively better as the series goes on (minus the idea of a good editor). I didn't see the twist coming! I liked the hero and felt he was a great match to CJ. It was nice to see some of the others again.
This book was just as good as the others, but I had to downgrade it because of the whole stalker angle. It kind of weird-ed me out. The whole reading his thoughts in the middle of a chapter was just strange. The first time it happened I had to check and make sure I was reading the same book because it just seemed out of place. Other than that another good read.
I really enjoyed the chemistry between the two protagonists. The growth of their relationship was carefully developed and the tension and suspense when CJ was in danger too was well handled. I am pleased Osten got his Willow!!
Enjoyed reading about CJ and Olsten. Some many thoughts running thru my mind about who the stalker was and I would have never guest who the killer was. Marvin FBI agent/gym teacher was brought in to watch a teacher at the school where CJ taught. Abigail was a hot mess even when Olsten informed her he was not interested in her. Abigail felt that since CJ was afro-american that Olsten should not have been interested her, she felt that she was much better than CJ. Jadye from (Kincade's Rose) book #1 is now having a sisterly relationship with her sister that is the lawyer. That is nice to know. What I'm enjoying about this Megalodon Team is that all of the Navy Seals are mentioned in all the books.
This is a great Navy Seal Series and is a enjoyable read. Now on to book # 7 "Dimitri's Moon" Ilanderae “Landi” Nycks is the best friend of the lady electrician Koali “Kacy” Travis who is with Ernst Zimmermann.
One may initially be forgiven that Marvin was the stalker. I guess charge middle of the voluntary it was Gordon. He was too good to be true. Loved everyone's brothers and the Love between the siblings . 5 down 3 to go in the series.
While I think this book should be read because it is part of a great series, I had REALLY mixed feelings towards CJ. I liked the strength of her character, but perhaps more than any other book in this series, she just didn't get the depths of the Hero's feelings for her no matter what he said. And [minor spoiler] when she believed he had been the one who planted the camera's in her apartment I just couldn't believe it. Her reasoning and doubt made NO SENSE what-so-ever and it stayed with her a REALLY long time. So, yes, read the book because it is part of the series, but this is the weakest of the books.
Really good one in the series, but the editing was bad. I loved that Osten didn't seem as overly besotted as the other teammates in their respective books. He loves CJ but he isn't sappy with it; I like that. I'm still lmbo at the wedding dress...crazy but funny as hell!
I thought I'd figured out who the stalker was, boy was I wrong. That dang stalker was some kind of sick. To have planned on what he wanted to do for years just shows the extinct some people will go through to force their way on others.
Petty Officer Second Class Osten Vittano Scoleri was entranced by one school teacher, Chantoya Williow Jackson, the minute he saw her. He not only had to sway her of his devotion for her but also her three over protective brothers Ajani, Thurston and Binh. He had this overwhelming feeling of love, affection and protection towards her, a feeling he never felt for any other woman before. CJ, as she was affectionately called, had a gut feeling that she was being watched. That feeling kept her at an emotional distance from Osten a.k.a. Baby Boy. It was not until CJ was kidnapped by a person she considered to be a close friend and colleague, that she realized that she was in love with Osten and may never get a chance to tell him.
The entire Seal team family came together to get CJ back to safety but the F.B.I. had other thoughts on the matter.
The author developed this storyline to have the reader think one person was the stalker when it was actually one that one would not be taking a second look at. To actually link a story from the previous book was a nice touch too. Great job Alliyah. I've enjoyed all of the Megaladon series I've read so far.
