"Mexico" is a great book that talks about the great and beautiful country Mexico. The book includes information about the countries that border Mexico, the traditions and culture of the country, even their national sport, and many more interesting facts about the great country of Mexico. There is even a section about the cool activities you can do in Mexico and the awesome things tourists go and do. If you wanted to go to Mexico, you don't have to go and do all kinds of crazy things, there are many activities you can do without having to be brave. Those things include going to art museums, seeing ruins, and going to any of the cafes or restaurants. I rated this book five stars because I have been to Mexico and done many of these things and I think they wrote this book with good explanation of the country.

My wife and I like to read elemental books about different countries. This time it was Mexico. We have a neighbor born in Mexico but he is now a US citizen. His mother lives with him and she was born in Mexico but only speaks Spanish. I speak some Spanish and often speak to her.
Kristy and I have been to Mexico 5 times. We have been to the border towns: Tijuana, Jaurez, and Nogales. We also drove down through Baja California to Ensenada. We flew into Mexico City with a tour group and stayed overnight.
It is interesting that there are two major chains of mountains and in the middle is the plateau where most Mexicans live.
There have been a lot of civilizations in Mexico like the Olmecs, Aztecs, and Mayas.

I always enjoy A True Book series. The layout is done well with easy to understand text, beautiful photographs/charts, interesting facts mixed throughout and additional resources and information in the afterward. This edition on Mexcio was no exception and it would be a wonderful addition to any elementary library or classroom.
