Also wenn ich ehrlich bin, dann hatte ich total überlesen, dass es sich hierbei um einen Comic handelt, als ich mir gleich drei Supernatural-Bücher auf einmal bestellt habe. Festzuhalten bleibt allerdings, dass dieser Comic, so bunt er auch immer sein mag und was auch immer noch alles, längst nicht in derselben Liga spielt wie beispielsweise The Walking Dead. Dennoch war es ganz nett, die Vorgeschichte von Supernatural als Serie in Comic-Form zu haben. Nett ja, weltbewegend nein.

The only thing I didn't like about this was Dean calling Sam stupid. Sam is not stupid, and I just can't see Dean ever calling him stupid. Other than that, it was well written.

Oh gee, an issue of a comic where a character(s) attempts to help cure an infected person, and shenanigans ensue. Never seen that done before.

Also, why did they use actual photos of Sam and Dean for the cover in this issue? I mean, I'm not saying I'm against it, but come on, it's a comic! We already see enough of those two skin sacks in the show, give us some art, and pay your artists more on top of that!

サムが家出をするまでの物語。

サムはモーテルを黙って抜け出し、学校に戻ろうとするが電車に乗ろうにもお金が足らない。お金をどうしたものかと悩んでいたところ、駅でスリを働いているケイトと出会う。スリをしたとは知らず助けてしまったことでケイトに気に入られたサムは、ケイトたちが寝床につかっている地下に案内される。ところがケイトはサムがハンターであることを知っており、魔物退治をしてほしいと頼まれるサム。ディーンはサムがいなくなっていることに気がつき、ひどく心配するがジョンは心配しなくていいと本来の目的でるジョニー・ディーの捜索に集中する。

今回サムは一人で魔物と立ち向かうことに。戻ってきてみても何事もなかったかのようなジョンの様子にサムは一段と反発心を強めてしまった感じ。迎えたのがディーンだったらよかったのに。
