Elijah, has a reputation as that kid who's Mum died, then transitioned. He is used to being the hot topic, the name on everybody's lips, the centre of attention, so it is no surprise when he is named one of ballets raising stars, and expected to win gold with ease at this years competition.

It should be easy. Right?

But, Elijah's mind is elsewhere, on leaving home, on money, on sex and falling in love and things begin to get complicated. Can this trans ballerina win gold, figure out how to love two people, get into ballet school, and find the big O all before school finishes for good?

This was a really nice and easy read! I loved all the ballet descriptions and dance sessions. I also think this book provides a nice and refreshing view on love, friendship, and sex. As the book is self-published you do notice more errors while reading it but as long as this doesn't put you off too much I would definitely recommend reading this nice queer ballet book!
