When Juliet falls for Romeo, there's either revolution or destruction.
Born into a notorious panther family, I'm coerced into forming a matrimonial alliance to oppose werewolves.
Refusing to wed a scoundrel, I seek shelter from our archenemy where I meet my fated mate.
He's a loyal pack security who suspects me of spying and harshly rejects me.
Our ideas are poles I have faith in true love, whereas he values dedication to his wolf pack.
But with time, his prejudice lifts, and he warms up to me, yet stubbornly denies our love.
My situation has never improved. The war between panthers and wolves is in full swing, and there's no room for compromise until I go back.
A trap is set for me, and my disappearance is interpreted as a betrayal, while the truth is I'm kidnapped and learn a hideous secret.
I must survive to tell the tale, or everyone will meet a tragic end...
Her Wolf Mate is a standalone book in The Rejection Series. It's a full-length romance packed with heart and heat! ! No cheating or cliffhangers and a satisfying happily ever after.
Jaymin Snow was born and raised in a small town in Villa Park where she was homeschooled through high school. She writes paranormal and fantasy romance stories full of feisty heroines, unforgettable heroes. She has a husband, three young daughters, and a lovely dog.
I liked this, but not as much as book one. Things moved along too fast across the board. And once again, NOT enough groveling. Still, a decent fated mate story.
I'm glad I read the Rejected By My Alpha Mate first as this was nowhere near as much fun. The hero is cruel verbally, but the abuse she received from her own brothers and others is over the top. She doesn't fight back much, but she finally gets angry.
Honestly the abuse scene was pretty much to handle, at least for me. The H finally gets his act together though.
Sam, elder warlock, and the vampire mayor are still my favorites.
Didn't care for this book at all. Didn't like Thea for some reason. I know she was tortured and everything, but I just couldn't get into her character. We had more POVs from this hero than the previous book which was better. Still think Austin was worse. The H Lexian from this book wasn't that bad. Also, maybe I'm a wolf purist or something because panthers and wolves mating is just weird to me. Can't say I'll keep reading if we're mixing all the animal shifters up.🙈😂 Sorry it's just something I'm not going to be able to get past I don't think. My mind will not compute
Okay the first one was pure, fluffy (haha get it?) entertainment, with a somewhat asshole hero, but this hero sucked! Alpha my butt, this guy was totally a beta passive-aggressive bigot.
But I'm still 3-starring it cause it was very readable, even though I was rooting for the heroine to get rescued by the vampire-mayor.
Almost all of the problems that I had with the previous book about Austin were very much improved upon in Lexi's book. I did catch a few errors here and there but it wasn't half as egregious as the last book. The MMC's motivations and traumas were clear from the start and at least Lexi came by his anger honestly.
Despite Lexi being genuinely bigoted against the FMC's race, I don't think he ever crossed the same lines that Austin did. Austin loved and wanted his mate from the start but we never got his POV and he spent the majority of his book emotionally abusing his innocent mate and hesitated saving her life over keeping his packmate's "safe". Austin's motivations sucked and were misplaced in regards to his mate.
At least Lexi's anger and hatred, while equally misplaced, didn't prevent him from protecting his mate consistently from the very beginning. His actions contradicted his hateful words and Thea fully held him accountable for the things he did say. And I understood why he had that anger and hatred in the first place and he worked on himself to overcome it. The "incident" was not done maliciously with the intention to harm his mate. He fully admits that he messed up and he is genuinely sorry that his overwhelming emotions caused him to step away at a vulnerable time for her. He rightfully joins in the blame for not physically being there to keep Thea safe. But the fact that keeps me from fully blaming him was his intentions to come right back. He wasn't ghosting her, he walked away to calm down his emotions. I would much rather have that, than the verbal abuse of the last book.
Lexi even shows up with the intention of keeping his mate safe and is the one to raise the alarm that his mate is missing despite the group of people that were supposed to be watching over her. He again blames himself for not being there from the beginning.
I was very surprised to have enjoyed this book as much as I did. I appreciated the space and consideration that Lexi gave to Thea and the fact that he was willing to completely walk away if that is what she needed. (Unlike a certain Alpha) I do feel like Lexi redeemed himself to Thea and I was genuinely rooting for the both them to heal from their past traumas.
I do however feel like Austin and his pack are a touch fickle. They had a problem with accepting a completely innocent abuse victim among their ranks (even after she saves you know who) until they discovered that she is an extra special shiny pokemon that they can use for their own benefit. And then they are all suddenly okay with Thea staying. In the first book I gave them the benefit of the doubt for being cowards regarding the bully elders but I am giving them serious side eye now.
I almost didn't read this one and I'm glad I did. And thanks to the intriguing excerpt for the next book, I will be reading that one too. (The excerpt that I read was 100x better than the terrible blurbs on Goodreads)
✒︎ There’s love …. But nothing comes easy, especially love. And never forget, there’s a thin line between love and hate.
✒︎ There’s betrayal …. The saddest thing about betrayal is, it never comes from your enemies.
✒︎ There’s Emotion …. Angst, pain, fear, remorse, joy
✒︎ There’s greed … for power, for money, for pride
Thea and Lexion get along like cats and dogs, there’s no love lost. After all she’s a panther and he’s a wolf. Oh yes, they happen to be mates and that is a big problem.
Lexi hates any and all panthers. They tortured and killed his little sister and made him watch. No way he's going to have a cat as a mate. He wants Thea to suffer and takes pride in emotionally hurting her, rejecting her. He learns the hard way that pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. Tsk, tsk.
As for Thea. she is use to being unloved. She's been tortured and abused since blamed for her parents murder when she was 10. Ahhhh, but Thea has a very special gift, one that is valuable, too valuable to let go to waste … or so think her brothers. Selling her will bring a lot more than money, it will bring power. As far as they are concerned, she’s disposable. After all, as a tribe breeder, she’ll pass her rare gift of healing and power to her offspring. But there’s a big problem, Thea would rather die first.
Enjoy unraveling all this. Here’s a hint, love is a powerful force when put to the test. It will fight friend or foe, anything or anyone who tries to destroy it.
Why 4 stars and not five? I’m not a fan of profanity…. There’s a difference between cussing and profanity. Also, if you’re not a fan of intimate scenes, there’s not a lot here but the ones here are easy to skip over.

MY RATING: 3.5* RELEASE DATE: 01 February 2023 CLIFFHANGER: No
I loved book one of this series so much that I immediately jumped into this book, and it didn’t disappoint.
What would you do if the people who are supposed to love and protect you, don’t? In fact, not only do they fail to protect you but they are the cause of your misery?
You run! That’s what. But what awaits you is possibly worse than what you’re running from.
Thea has HAD. IT. ROUGH! Thea is not your typical rejected heroine. Her subtle inner strength, so subtle that she doesn’t even know she possesses it. Her life has been such a misery that she has no emotional or mental capacity to process the rejection pain that is supposed to wear her down. She doesn’t grovel and wallow in pity over it. Just takes it like a G, because firstly, fuck Lexion and secondly, she has bigger fish to fry.
I’m not sure what to think of Lexion. I’d love to hate him but honestly, I’m 52:48% love:hate him. He was cruel and mean. While I understood why, fuck him still.
Thea was just so sweet, and gentle that she deserved better.
I do have a few bones to pick though; I wish Thea’s “gift” could have been expended a bit more, I wish that her brother’s story could have been developed more as well. How Chris came to know Thea’s secret and what it meant etc. And for goodness sake, I needed Justin to GROVEL. I need these hero’s grovelling. And I mean the mother of all grovels.
OK- don’t judge me! While the reasons above are why I didn’t rate it higher, the main reason is SMUT. I NEED SMUT IN MY BOOKS. I’m talking about toe-curling, back breaking kind of smut. That’s it. That’s all. Thank you.
Oof, there were some dark themes in this book. Thea, a panther shifter, used to have a happy, loving family. That all changed when her parents were murdered. Her once loving brothers blamed her and it turned them into really abusive assholes. Things go from bad to worse for her. Then she finds herself mated to Lexion, commander of the Stone Creek wolf pack. The problem is that “Lexi” HATES panthers, as they murdered his family. So there’s a twisted story of love, revenge, redemption, forgiveness and pretty much everything in between.
The events of this book take place 2 years after Rejection By My Alpha Mate, and I loved that Seline and Austin had a pretty big presence in this book, even though their romance is secondary here. Again, we have a resilient FMC who, against all odds, is still a pretty gentle creature. I gotta say, there were some pretty gut wrenching emotional scenes and dialog. While I didn’t need a kleenex, it didn’t mean that my emotions weren’t in some turmoil here. Oh man, that scene where Lexi and crew rescue her from the local panther pack leader was just . . . Ugh! *cries*
World building is well done, especially with series like this because you get more with each subsequent book. Character building is surprisingly well done, at least the female leads, so far. My pet peeve is female authors that can’t write a good female lead. But Ms. Snow does a pretty damn good job so far. The book could have used a bit of editing as there were some grammar mistakes, some incorrect pronouns and once a secondary character was misnamed (Roy instead of Ray). Although it didn’t negatively impact my enjoyment of the story. I’m definitely continuing with the series.
Her Wolf Mate was a pretty enjoyable read. I liked Thea’s character and kindness, and although he was a total douche to her, Lexi (Lexion) was a good tortured mate. However I did think that Thea accepted him back too quickly and easily. Lexion had treated Thea terribly for the majority of the book. To have him “suddenly” toward the end do a 180 was a little strange, and certainly not realistic if balanced.
The evil shifters were REALLY evil, which was sort of perfect, because although they harmed Thea over and over again…the author definitely made it clear that Thea (even if she believed she was weak) actually had some impressive power, and the terrible way that her brothers treat her, only made her more powerful, more confidant, and more willing to stand up for herself.
So this book (even though it contains a really a-hole MMC) is an easy fairly short book that’ll make you laugh at every little thing that makes Ren “innocent and sweet, and sob at the horrible torture she’s had to endure, and continuous rejection and hateful glares from almost everyone, even her own fated mate tells her she’s worthless and that he hates her.
I have to say that this was one of my favorite shifter books. I don't usually read them because they usually are a little to spicy for me but the cover on this one caught my eye so I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. This was an excellent story. It was full of abuse, cruelty, hope and love. Thea had a tough life. After her parents were killed, her brothers became very abusive to her. They were panther shifters and made a deal with a cruel man named Nolan to give their sister to him to become his second mate. He was very cruel and he tortured her just to watch her heal herself. She was quickly losing hope and just wanted to die. When she does manage to escape she is given protection by a wolf pack. Thea meets Lexie and learns that he is her true mate but he isn't real happy about it. He has a grudge against panthers. As the two interact with the wolf pack and Lexie learns about Thea his frosty heart warms and he falls for her. Then Thea's brothers & Nolan kidnap her and Lexie will do anything to get her back. A great story and I highly recommend it.
I could not put this book down, but have to admit there were several bits that had me close to tears. Thea has not had a chance at life, her parents being killed when she was young and her 5 brothers beating and abusing her ever since. She finds out she is being sold to the cruel panther pack leader and fully expects her life to end so runs; only to find herself sheltering behind an emotionless wolf shifter.
Lexi has had really bad past experiences with panthers and sees them as cruel. He sees Thea as being no different.
This a wonderful story of a woman who has a kind heart, despite what she has lived through; and a man who is loving but finds it hard to see past his past experiences. They have so great friends in the town as well, I especially liked Seline, Austin, Ray and Jason, as well as the mayor (some great lines which really made me smile).

Pretty good rejected mate story. There were some editing issues where the tense changed randomly from present tense to past tense, and sometimes the perspective changed from first person to third person. It occasionally made the narrative hard to follow.
I liked the romance overall and the world is interesting.
This story includes a pet peeve of mine though, which is when the author writes that the main character is tortured, but then brushes off the recovery. Lexi experiences several days of intense torture, which is heartbreaking to read about… then she just sort of shrugs it off. No big deal. The physical wounds heal and she’s all better.
I also didn’t appreciate the forgiveness arc for her brothers. It was too quick and didn’t make sense with all the abuse she suffered.
The story of this book had a lot of potential, I was glued to it at first but as time went on I realized the two main characters never truly built their relationship. You have an abused gal, and a dude with trauma yet they avoid one another and that’s supposed to make me believe that for 3 months while he was gone they just magically fell in love? How did they build a relationship on nothing but hurt and no healing? Their love wasn’t believable to me and it ruins it. Also we have this character development where she decides to be strong i guess but where does this stem from? It doesn’t give enough details. I would have liked the characters to truly know one another at the bare minimum, in fact half the stuff they learned about each other was just from what others had said. Not from talking about it.
Thea’s story tore me apart, she just could not catch a break. I truly wanted her to find happiness after everything she has been through. Lexi is amazing, but very stubborn. I could not believe everything he did for her, so many thoughtful things. I enjoyed all of the side characters, and how they supported Thea. Overall, this was an engaging read that draws you in, and makes you feel so many emotions. I highly recommend you read this book.
The narration was great, I enjoyed it. The characters were brought to life, the narrator did a great job differentiating the characters.
How long can you be abused before you go completely numb? How can you recover when the one who is supposed to love and protect you turns their back on you? When do past hurts die or are they always going to be an excuse for people to hurt you? How can you fight for love when all those who supposedly loved you are the same one who abuse you? Can love find a way past the pain and heal the wound to your soul? Is love strong enough to settle the ghosts of the past? There is only one way to find out.
Thea is a panther-shifter who can't shift. Thea's oldest brother is the Alpha of their family and he placed a lock on her. When her brother gives her to the violent, nasty Alpha of another pack, Thea takes off and runs right into wolf-shifter Lexion. This story has action, romance, and steam, ending in a HEA. Very highly recommended.

I thought Seline and Austin’s story was a gut-wrencher - but it’s nothing compared to Thea and Lexi’s story! This book made me sob like no other book I’ve read. It hit me in the gut, pulled me through the wringer, then lined-dried me in a gentle breeze. Jaymin hit each of these books out of the park and she now has my undivided reader devotion :) I can’t wait for the rest of the series. Reader beware - you will need a box of tissues reading Thea’s sorry!
XXX! Adult content, reader discretion advised. Not all shifters are wolves in this universe. Panthers are a part of this world. Panther and wolves don’t mix. Or do they? One fated pairing says they do. If they can survive each other while also not getting raped, mated and killed by a Psychotic alpha panther. This is Thea and Lexion’s story. It’s ugly and brutal. It is also captivating and heartbreakingly beautiful.
I have enjoyed these last two shifter books! Thea and Lexi definitely went on an emotional ride. Something I noticed between the two books is the time line. Some times it will say it’s been a week and then say a day. Someone is pregnant but then it’s been years and they are still pregnant? It’s a little annoying but overall the books have both been good and I can’t wait for the next.
💓💖💓 Lexion and Thea 💓💖💓 Great paranormal story told by Jaynin Snow! Thea, a panther, hasn't been treated right since she was young. Her brothers abused her, the alpha wants her. Lexion is a wolf and hates panthers. Great story that tells of their ups and downs finding each other! Has a HEA!.

Overall, I enjoyed the book. However, a major plot hole was that her "gift" of healing was exposed to her brothers when she healed her brother Chris before the story begins and yet she couldn't heal her brother Darrius because she was told "they were of the Same "blood" and he dies from his injuries.
Thea has been tortured and placed under a dark magic spell to control powers she didn't even know she possessed. Lexi doesn't want to acknowledge her as his mate because her kind murdered his sister. So many are after Thea but Lexi must overcome his prejudice in order to save her.
There were some typos in this that took me out of the story. Needs better editing. Also, the plot was all over the place. All things considered, it was a decent book. There was decent angst. I liked the first one better.
I didn’t think there was nearly enough groveling, considering. Also, did he ever tell her he loved her? I’m interested in the vampire! I want him to get a book!

Blurb on Amazon sounds like it was written by someone who used Google translate to translate it to another language and then back into English. Blurb on Goodreads is slightly better, but still sounds really bad. Is the rest of the book like this or did someone else write the blurbs? Just wondering if this book is worth trying.
With each book I'm being pulled into the story and get lost in the pages I'm reading!!! I love each book the storylines are fabulous. I have finished this book in 1 day too!! I can't wait for the 3rd book!!! I'm totally hooked I'm hoping for more stories with other characters from each story. Please Jay in write more from this series from your fan for life!!!!
