As a child, multi-published author Ty Langston loved to read about dragons and knights so much that one day, her grandmother told her to "just write about them."

So she did.

From that day forward, she never left home without her pen, a notebook, and some kind of music playing in the background. Her love of reading expanded from fantasy into science fiction, and eventually into paranormal and contemporary romance.

She also writes under the pen name of Piper Reece. Ty enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Dragons, other realms oh my! That is what this book has in store for you. I have to say I really enjoyed this book and wished it had been longer. The Characters were very well written. My favorite though wasn't the Heroine. In Fact Lauren only had a small part in this book , though I'm told she will play more of important role later on. Yay ! I can't explain why I was so drawn to her more than Elena maybe because she is strong, take no crap from no one but same time shows her soft side.

Though Elena showed a strong side, there was something about her, a whiny side(don't shoot me for those who did love her) that I just didn't care for.

Now Julian and Caleb, I love them both Caleb maybe a bit more because I think there is a nice guy in there somewhere.

Without giving too much away , I believe you will be surprised, your mouth will drop because I know mine sure did a couple times.

But overall I loved this book. Only drawback is waiting for book 2 in this series to come out.

So if you love Dragons, Fantasy and a bit hot steamy romance this is for you.

Kind of a short book by my standards, but then again I haven't really delved into the world of novellas all that much. If this were a stand alone book I'd call it a bit incomplete BUT It's part of a series so I think it sets the scene very well. Details were well thought out and the plot twists weren't too over the top which made it believable. Good strong characters that drew you in and while I don't care for books with a lot of sex in them, the erotic scenes in "By Sunset" while typical, were still steamy and unique enough to not put me off, so props to the author for that!

This was a really good read. A fantasy world that is enchanting yet daunting at the same time, A plot that actually worked (a lot of books just seem to go no where, especially in the erotic genre) and writing that just basically leaves you wanting more! 4 very strong stars.

Short novella so it was a bit rushed and jumpy.
