Dragon's Fall is a five novella series based on the DL Summers' successful novel, Vampires of the Scarlet Order. Together these erotic, paranormal romances will create a complete story that begins in ancient Greece and culminates in 15th century Transylvania.
Bondage, the first book in the series, set in Hellenistic Athens, is the story of the slave Alexandra. Sold to Theron, a mysterious banker, she wonders about her new master who is never seen during the day. As time goes on, she notices that slaves called upon to serve Theron in his chamber in the night do not return the next morning.
When Alexandra's turn comes she learns Theron is a vampire who binds his slaves, takes his pleasure with them, then drinks their blood. She refuses to be a victim, but as she fights his embrace, Alexandra ingests some of Theron’s blood. Now a vampire herself, she becomes Theron's concubine. WATCH OUT DRACULA! There's a woman who can take you on and more! Excellent book! Loved it!
All I have to say is that this book does not disappoint. It starts with the most poignant comment that slavery or being owned was awful. The book is centered around a woman driven not to be owned or used. She was strong, noble, and kind, but she wanted to be free. She would use any means to be free. I loved her counterpart who was in David Lee Summer's other book which I also love Demetrius. I hope I got the spelling right.
If you love Paranormal Vamps with a bite, you HAVE to race out and buy this book. It was fun, sexy, and adventurous at the same time.
It takes a lot to satisfy my hunger for good Vampire books and this one of my FAVORITES!

This little novella gives you something to sink your teeth into from the beginning. Tragedy. Lust. Success. It has an interesting way introducing Alexandra and the major events of her life that have led her to being a recently turned vampire, that has just killed her Master. Which leaves me curious as to what will happen next in this series?
