A.B.M. Abdullah Professor of Medicine BSMMU Dhaka Bangladesh has wide experience as a practicing physician and a teacher of clinical medicine both at home and abroad. Throughout his career he has been involved in teaching and training of under- and post-graduate medical students as well as nursing students. Professor Abdullah has 36 research papers in medical science which have published in various national and international journals. He is the author in addition to the present one of four books titled Short Cases in Clinical Medicine Long Cases in Clinical Medicine ECG in Medical Practice and Case History and Data Interpretation in Medical Practice . Among these Short Cases in Clinical Medicine is also published by Elsevier and was awarded the University Grants Commission Award Bangladesh in 2015. He has written numerous health related articles in Bengali and English which are published in several renowned daily newspapers. He also delivered many television programs on public health issues.
