I was thinking to read some books on the amines I used to watch and it was worth it. It is a pretty easy book to read, I recommend this book book for people who like to watch Pokémon only. I like Pokémon 3 years ago but it was fun to read about. I rate it a 4.5 stars

Personal Response:
I've read a lot of Pokemon Manga's in my day but this was the first directly made off of a movie, and I have to say, I didn't really like it. I think that Ash should just stick to the big screen instead of the books. I read this book before I watched the movie and didn't think it was that bad. I would've given it a three or four star around that time instead if a two, but then I saw the movie. After I saw the movie (which was made first) I realized how much was missing with the book and I was all like "wow this actually really sucks".
Plot Summary:
A really long time ago the god Pokemon Arceus was betrayed by a human after he saved the Earth. He helped the humans and then he got mad and promised to one day destroy the planet. He was really hurt however after being attacked and had to rest for a while. JUMP TO THE FUTURE! Ash and his friends find some other people while on their journey and help them out with something. They get told the legend of Arceus and how the two that they met are descendants of the person who betrayed Arceus. Arceus shows up and starts blowing crap up and a few lesser god Pokemon show up to stop him. One of them sends Ash and co. into the past, specifically the time when the guy is betraying Arceus. Then they get sent further back in time and do a bunch of crap to save Arceus from being betrayed and essentially save the world (once again), how cliche.
Recommendations:
Either gender could read this just fine and any age like, eight and up would be fine reading it.

I read this while passing time in a bookstore. Can't say I thought it was the most well-written book I've ever read, but it helped kill time

Wow. Four legendary pokemon in one volume? Epic! I will admit that I didn't know much about these four powerful pokemon, so it was kinda cool to get to know their story and connections.

Ash, Brock and Dawn have to travel back in time to stop a tragic series of events that could end humanity. While the time paradox wasn't really deeply covered, it was still fun to see a time travel element added into the pokemon universe/adventures.

Read this one and handed it off to Zach as he wanted to read more pokemon manga this summer!

Will be adding it to my middle school manga collection.

It was fun reading about the backstory of Arceus. The movie going along with this is also great.

This book is a cool story about a dystopia where a Pokemon is threatening to destroy the world. I think the plot should have been longer so the story could be more interesting. The book gave me an adventurous feeling. Second third and fourth graders would enjoy this book if they like adventurous books. This book is a manga graphic novel, which means that it is in the Japanese format.

I liked the book because it had the right amount of action. The character I liked the most is Ash because he is very skillful. The character I disliked the most is Markus because he upset Arceus and made it have vengeance on humans. The book is based on a Pokemon movie which was the twelfth in twelve years. I would definitely recommend this book to my nephew Aazim because he likes Pokemon.

Since I had seen the movie awhile back, long before reading the manga, I knew how this would end before starting it. But, that didn't spoil my enjoyment of this volume at all. I especially loved how the manga seemed to handle the small details alot better than the movie.
