Italian Mafia Boss's Lost Baby Son is a spicy, dark secret baby mafia romance between a possessive, alpha male mafia king and his boss's daughter. Contains mature themes that may be sensitive to some.
I've read a bunch of these series. From Irish mob, scottish mob Russian Bravata, Italian mob and they are all the same really and I have to say they are just ok. I wouldn't call none of the really Mafia/Bravata. There is like 5 mins of hardened criminal and then it's like a pretend hate but secretly love type thing with all of them where the women give in way way to early. I highly doubt an actual mafia would ve ok with a women keeping their child from them. Actually they would take the child and possibly the mother by force. Like I said it was just ok. But make your own opinion on it. Because I have different thoughts then others may on what a mafia book would be like. It's well written but just didn't hit the hardness enough. Death in these books. Didn't seem real enough this one especially. One they is no way a mafia man would put up with another man hitting his women he would of put a bullet in his head right them and there. We don't even know what happened to De Luca either. Mafia would of grabbed him strung him up in a warehouse and tortured him before killing him. Just saying
This was another great book by these two! I have been loving the dangerous plots and love and steam between the couples in the books previously and this one is certainly no exception.
The world they live in is complicated and each have their own motivations as single people. But there is a child involved and unexpressed feelings left to explore. She by right should have gotten everything as was her birth right. But he stayed behind and clawed for everything.
Both were missing something in their lives and despite what she did and the lengths she took to stay away, she just couldn't. If she did her problems wouldn't be so much but then again they wouldn't have had the chance to form a family. I might not agree with some actions taken and I hated the separation but I am so happy they worked everything out.

Lyla and Leo have a history and it didn't end well. Lyla left when she learns who he was and when she disappeared, she was pregnant. Now years later she is back, and she has brought their child with her. She leaves their son with her grandmother while she went to see Leo. Sparks reignited between them and soon things heat up again. However, while she thought their son was safe that was further from the truth. Can they find their son? Will this be a second chance for them?
This is a great story that will draw you in from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I am starting to see a pattern with these books, poorly executed endings. There is all this angst, will they/wont they, but then all of a sudden it's an HEA with no real conflict resolution between the main characters. Layla was annoying. I get why she ran away and kept Mateo from Leo, but the entire book it was all woe-is-me, I'm the victim..blah blah blah. It takes two to make a baby so quit making it seem like Leo forced you to have sex with him. Leo deserved better. Layla goes from wanting nothing to do with Leo and leaving on weird terms when they rescue Mateo, but then cut to the ending and it's their wedding, no issues resolved, but everyone's happy. So far my least favorite in the series.
I did not.really like this one. I didn’t like the h to me she tried too hard, didn’t know when to shut her mouth, and was extremely petty. She was gone 10 years on a lie but came back and exposed her precious secret because she did not want the H to take over. To me she felt the H was unworthy and just thought he was sidekick material. The sex was meh. I wanted the H to be alpha but it fell flat and in the end she still took over when the H was better for the job
Lyla and Leo have a past together, now 9 years on Lyla is back to claim her fathers place but shes not alone, shes bringing her son Mateo with her, Leos son. but when Mateo is in danger Lyla can only ask one man to help her Leo. well written steamy second chance mafia romace.

I have enjoyed the other books in this series. I struggled with this book. I needed more of a back story about their night together and his motivation along with her need to run away. The author was vague on these details for me. I will move to the next book.
I enjoyed Leo & Layla’s book. She had a baby with my mafia boss enemy. And kept it a secret...until their child was stolen. It was an intriguing, fast paced read. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
“I don’t give a fuck what it takes, what it costs. I will get our son back. I will bring him back to you. And I will get you both home safe. I swear it on anything I have ever cared for or respect or held in regard. I swear this to you. Lyla.”
I love Rosalie’s work. She’s so such a good writer. But this ones my favourite so far. The fmc is so strong and takes control. She’s actually a part of the mafia and can hold her own.
I really enjoyed this book. Kept me wanting to read the next chapter. Wanting to see if she does ok. I'm so glad for the ending. Can't wait to read the next one.
