First of all please tell me we get the New Years story too! Please!

This was an absolutely smokin shortie. Very quick read, but very good story. We get a sexually bored wife who doesn't know how to approach her husband with her desires.

Well lo' and behold hubby buys her all kinds of naughty stuff for xmas, and turns out he goes all Dom and then some on her ass.

When she finally comes down from his sexual assult she discovers he's studied up with a stud to learn how to please her. He's snooped, he's spied, but she's so sexually satisfied that she could give a rat's ass. To be honest...I can't blame her.

Her husband also treats her to a special surprise....named Nick. And there ain't nothin' merry about Master Nick, but our heroine sure is singing carols when the duo are done with her.

The author interjects a part of a naughty version of "Twas the night before christmas" at the beginning of each chapter. It's really cute.

Can't wait to read more. I would love to hear the story of her husband's training too. 5 stars.

Well now wasn't that extra spicy. I saw this one was a freebie by a favorite author so I picked it up a few years back. I didn't pay much attention to the blurb, but just dove right in.

A middle-aged empty-nesting married woman has been with her husband since high school. Andrew is her best friend and she loves him dearly, but lately she's had yearnings that lean away from their usual bedroom routine. She can't tell Andrew that she wants him to take her roughly, spank her, do new and exciting things with her. He would be confused or hurt or think she's crazy, right?

But Andrew has a few surprises of his own and her every wish comes true even that threesome if she dares.

It was an interesting blend of super hot scenes and a woman's introspection about her marriage going bland. Some moderate BDSM elements. It was a quick novella, but I thought things were handled well including the way Andrew carefully and knowledgeably went about her fantasy scenes. Well, well, this one sure gave me new appreciations for the ol' Night Before Christmas Poem. haha!

This was a hot short story. The BDSM was just kinky and delightful. I liked it because the wife was discovering her kinky side and her husband came along for a ride. I can see how it is hard to talk to a spouse about newly awakened sexual desires. Most women never talk to their spouses about it. They may go into detail with female friends yet never their spouse. Isn't that odd? I know for me, I don't go into detail with people I know cuz I'm such a deviant. I stopped telling my spouse after awhile because it he didn't like it.

So to my surprise, the husband in this story did his own sleuthing and learned up on how to spice up their sex life. Totally hot! I liked it. I would like to know what happens at New Years. I'm fortunate that after a while, my DH rethought his stance and is similar to Andrew in this book. Woohoo!

Interesting... wife's libido has gone off the charts, but hubs doesn't really jump on board. But he goes snooping to figure out WHY wife's libido jumped, and for her, he goes and gets Dom training, gives her exactly (maybe more than) what she wants AND sets up a threesome for her for Christmas. I loved how flabbergasted she was and her reactions to everything. My favorite paragraph (at around 66%):

What the fuck! I would have explored this turn of events more fully, but overcome with so many blissful touches all at once, I came really fucking hard.

She was just hilarious! Lots of sexy goodness. Cute story about how far a man goes to please his wife.

Well, that was hot! Short and steamy about a couple married what seems like forever, 20 years - we are pushing 30 so I can say that =), to their high school sweethearts, I can relate to that part too! She wants to spice things up and he figures it out, embraces it, and surprises her for Christmas. It really helps when there is an established relationship in short stories otherwise they are hard to believe. So this one worked well because of that. First read for me from an author I have been seeing all over goodreads, I will be looking for more!

When a story has a name like Holiday Kink you expect to get a lot of sex with it. Let me tell you, Holiday Kink definitely lived up to it's name! This book was HOT, HOT, HOT. So much so that the characters surely ended up on Santa's Naughty list for their antics!

One of the things that I loved about this short story was that though it looked like a simple erotica story on the outside, it was essentially a Love Story at it's core. Holiday Kink is filled with an amazing amount of romance for such a short story. Something I totally didn't expect considering there generally isn't enough time in short stories to feel anything more then Wet. Andrew truly loved his wife and was willing to do anything to keep her love. Not that he was in danger of loosing her mind you, but he didn't know that.

This story is filled with Eve Langlais's trademark humor. From the very first line I was smiling. Our heroine has a delightful kinky side as was evident in her saucy rendition of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas . Talk about hilarious! One of my other favorite lines in the story was when she had just finished pleasuring herself when her husband walked into the room and she thought about what a relief it was that she hadn't been caught "with her hands in the cookie jar".

Holiday kink was a great addition to Eve Langlais's already awesome repertoire! Want a quick holiday read with a kinky kick? Read Holiday Kink. I dare you not to enjoy it! After all, I'm sure you'd rather have some fabulous sex toys instead of coal in your stocking!

This book was hot as fire! It's the first one I've read by Eve Langlais and it's very, very naughty. 😉

A wife finds herself longing for more spice in her relationship with her best friend and lover, who just happens to also be her husband. She is shocked in a good way when he surprises her with something a little extra, and unexpected, for Christmas.

There's spanking, light bondage and a really hot ménage scene. I don't think this wife is going to be unhappy with her love life from now on. It was the perfect length to read right before bedtime. 😊

However Andrew knew something was up and did some snooping into her internet history and notebook. He then went to a BDSM club to learn what he needed and spent Christmas and Boxing Day giving his wife a much loved present. It shows that even older couples still happy in the marriage can learn to add more spice to their lovemaking.

Holiday Kink was the absolutely the best erotica story that I have read in a while. A husband becoming complacent with his once a week vanilla sex. A wife who longs for more kink. At Christmas the wife gets a unbelievable surprise from her husband. Well written with outstanding character development. I totally loved this storyline.

I am a big Eve Langlais fan and typically get caught up in her stories within the first couple of pages; this time I struggled to do so. I'm not sure if it is due to a misstep in timing, a certain lack of depth in the supporting characters or that I just could not connect to the primary character.

So yeah, the story is good but not what I would consider great. It is definitely "hot" and the reader can get their kink on ( in other words, it is explicit) if they are so inclined. This one is 3- 3.5 stars for me though.

Fa La La

This book was steamy from beginning to end. I loved every minute of it! I am so glad that I picked it up because I was hooked from chapter one. The way that Eve took a classic Christmas story and changed it enthralled me.

Hiding things from a loved one is never smart, but in this case it gave her what she wanted. A classic couple who has been together since high school is thrown into a whole new world when she discovers a new found sexual love.

Pick this amazing book up to read more. And don't forget this is strictly an 18+ book!!

This was a hot, quick, holiday short. I really wanted to know what was going to happen at New Year's! I'm hoping there's a sequel in this couple's future.

But anyway, I liked the story--stale marriage spiced up when hubby meets wife's desires head on. And the results were absolutely delicious. I just wish there was more because I really wasn't ready for it to end yet.

This is that story that you need to help explain what you are looking for when you are in a relationship and are unable to communicate what you need.
