On the beach is a picture with flaps. It talks about all the creatures and plants to be found in the ocean. It also shows what you can find on land.

This book was so cute! It was so cute and colorful. The little flaps made the book very interesting to read.

This book can be very useful in the classroom to show students what all can be found on the beach. they can learn about animals in the water and on land.

This is a fun and engaging book about all that you will find on a beach. From tide pools to seagulls. Each page has at least one lift the flap with more information under the flap. This is the perfect, high interest book to read when visiting a beach or wishing you were visiting.

Julia says 3 stars for On the Beach. Julia loves, loves, loves lift the flap books and she also loves the beach. This book has both so she was looking forward to starting it the whole way home. Unfortunately this is a library book so we of course had to deal with the one or two flaps that were missing. But, besides that it was all good. It doesn't read like a story that just flows - it's a bit more choppy than that - but that's the norm for most lift the flaps so we weren't fazed.
While I was searching for this I saw another life the flap book about dinosaurs by the author(s) so I've just added that to our to-read list. If there's anything Julia loves more than a lift the flap book about the beach it's a lift the flap book about dinosaurs.

This book is about different regions along the ocean. It covers everything from the beach to tide pools, to rocky cliffs. It tells you quite a few of the fun creatures that live in each area and what they eat and how they live.

I love the illustrations and the interactive flaps.

I would love to have this in my classroom. If I taught in a school on the ocean, we would go to the beach after reading this and see what we can find!

fun filled picture book with pop-ups, this book takes children on an adventure to the beach. The adventure starts with objects all on and around the beach and also goes under the sea. A very colorful and interactive story for young children.
A great way to teach kids about the beach!
