Brady & Violet had a no names one night stand ~ flash forward 6 months and Violet is now Brady's son's new live in nanny. So now we're in forbidden territory, add in the forced proximity with a side of a walk-in pantry and wowza with the chemistry.
Brady was such a great dad and Theo was a great 6 year old boy. He was perfectly behaved and such a delight. Perhaps that's due to Brady and Hannah's wonderful co-parenting regime. I loved Theo and Violet's relationship too. I am going to give myself 2 more single dad books before I determine that maybe I really don't mind them at all.
Brady has a wonderful relationship with his parents ~ his mom is a hoot! But, Violet's mom was a bit much with her meddling.
Overall, an all around delight! I am loving this series. I've smelled the set up since book 1 for the next book and I'll be ready and waiting for Chase and Twyla's story.

🎧🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧🎧
PERFORMANCE REVIEW: Outstanding 5+ STARS
Cindy Kay & Aaron Shedlock made a great team not only bringing this story to life, but also performing the duet narration flawlessly. Duet narration is not an easy feat and more often than not, in my listening experience, it doesn’t come across as seamless as one would hope and can really bring the enjoyment of an audio book down a notch or two. I heard nothing but flawless dialogue between Cindy & Aaron and it just catapulted my experience with this story tenfold! WELL DONE!
STORY REVIEW:
#FunFact: About 5 years ago or so I read one of my favorite Piper Rayne books and also one of my favorite female leads of all time. Coincidentally, she just happened to be the heroine of said book and her name was Lennon Hart, now Banks. When I read the title “You Can't Kiss the Nanny, Brady Banks”, I didn’t immediately put it together until I did and then, gaaaaaaah, my heart did a little jig!! I immediately stopped listening to Brady’s story and jumped back to Jasper & Lennon, and then started again with Brady’s story and it was three days of utter bliss and joy for me! If you haven’t yet read ”Mad About the Banker”, do yourselves a favor and do it soon. The joy it will bring to your heart is immeasurable. #trust
But I digress (lol), about this book … Since I’m very familiar with Brady’s childhood backstory and you may not be, this may sound vague but I loved the choice this author duo made in making Brady a single dad because, reasons. *wink* It gave the story a ’circle of life’ and ‘déjà vu’ quality that warmed my heart and endeared me to the journey instantly!
I can’t say I’m a fan of the ultimate conflict between Brady & Violet but at the same time, it was real and relatable to Violet’s character and her background, and I have to give props to the authors for not throwing in drama for drama’s sake and instead having a dramatic plot-point true to the character and the situation, for her. Her being Violet. So much about Violet broke my heart and made me want to reach into the story and constantly hug her. I just … ugh, just read the story!
If you’re a Piper Rayne fan already, you’re obviously not going to miss this book (lol) but if you’re new to this duo and reading this, I hope you give them a chance with this story because it was fun and sexy, swoony and feely, heartwarming more so than heartbreaking and ridiculously entertaining! It’s an all-around great story!

This series is so fun!!! Very quick, fun and spicy. I am a sucker for a nanny trope, so this was right up my alley!

4.5 Lego Stars
This was a feel good read for me. Yes there were plenty of steamy moments between Brady and Violet...I don't think I'll look at my pantry the same again. But I loved the way Brady and Theo's mom, Hannah, co-parented. Most people expect relationships with exes to be angry and bitter but this one I loved because it's what my hubs and I have done with his ex. Co-parenting doesn't mean a fight every single day it is about compromises and working together for the betterment of the child, and acting like adults you put whatever feelings you have aside and do what needs to be done to raise a well rounded child that has the love of both parents. So bravo to Piper and Rayne that they decided to portray this type of relationship for Brady and Hannah. Also little Theo is such a cuttie, I'd send him a ton of Lego sets just because he's a great kid, not only well mannered he has such a big heart and isn't afraid to show it. Like I said this was a feel good read for me.
Now getting to the relationship portion of the book lol
Brady Banks and Violet Park have a hot and heavy one-night stand where no names were exchanged, fast forward six months and Brady is still thinking about her then she's in his house as his live in Nanny....well hello fate it's nice to meet you. You know it's inevitable for these two to get together again but when they decide to keep things casual it's like tossing a challenge in the ring.
This was a great addition to the series and I cannot wait for Chance and Twyla's book which is up next
I would recommend this book to those that enjoy STEAMY Sports Romances, Single Dad Romances, Forced Proximity Romances, Interracial Romances, or Contemporary New Adult Romances.

This was a really fun, steamy, dual POV second chance romance between a pro Football player single dad and the nanny his ex-wife hires who also happens to be the woman he had a one-night stand with and hasn't been able to get out of his head.
The chemistry in this one was on fire and I REALLY loved the narration by Cindy Kay and Aaron Shedlock. Perfect for fans of The nanny by Lana Ferguson, Heartless by Elsie Silver or Make a wish by Helena Hunting (other recent nanny/single dad romances I've loved lately).

This is a second chance romance with a touch of forbidden romance.
I’m a sucker for “nanny forbidden romances.”
Violet and Brady had a one night stand, six months later she’s been hired by his son’s mother to be the live-in nanny at his house while he has his son full-time for 6 months. Awkward…and a bit of fate maybe.
This is a case when I enjoyed a child being central to the story, Brady’s devotion to his son made him super swoony and showed his kind, caring side.
Violet’s connection with his son was fantastic, it showcased all her wonderful, smart and thoughtful qualities.
The characters still have chemistry and a strong pull towards each other, Violet has a few reasons she doesn’t want to pursue anything with Brady. Once I knew all her reasons it made sense to me.
There’s a lot of stolen, steamy moments that gave me the butterflies. They are so incredibly hot together.
I really like the characters and enjoyed their low angst, low drama romance.
It’s a really sweet story with lots of sexiness and mature, sensible characters.
It includes family relationships both good and bad that add depth and heart to the characters story.
I love the secondary characters from the football team, they’re tons of fun.
I love this book and series. I’m very excited for the next book, the characters are really intriguing and I think it will be fiery.

I've always loved the ONS trope, and this did not disappoint. Brady is a playboy we've known about since the 1st book and i was actually excited for this one. He was totally smitten by Violet since the beginning, and it was fun to see him go from lust to love. Violet's character was a relatable one, especially her relationship with her parents, but watching her grow and standing up for herself was a proud moment. And, ohmygod, Theo is such an adorable child!!! I loved him from the get go. Also it was nice to see that Theo's mum wasn't some evil scheming bitch. The writing style was not much my type, but it was definitely an improvement from the 1st book. Also I could totally sense the tension b/w Chase and Twyla since the 1st book, and I'm totally excited for their book!!!

Heartbroken after she caught her fiancé cheating, Violet decides she needs a rebound. A one-night stand with no name, no numbers shared after. After months, the guy turns out to be the dad to the little boy she will be nannying for a few months.
Brady didn’t expect to see her again. She’s been on his mind every day since that night of passion. Now he’s her boss, and she’s supposed to be off limits. But the heat is still there; they can’t seem to turn it off. Brady has been unable to shake his feelings for her; the same fiery attraction that brought them together that night has lingered on even now, after a few months.
You Can’t Kiss the Nanny, Brady Banks by Piper Rayne, is a cute contemporary romance with a single dad and comedy. It has a boss/employee and close proximity that’ll take steaminess to high heat. If you love nanny romances, a touch of friends with benefits, and sizzling heat, this book will be a worthwhile read for you.
I love how Theo is present in the story. In some of the single-parent romances I’ve read, the kids don’t often show up or have an effect on the plot. They’re just there to give an excuse for the main characters to meet or be next to each other. It’s not the case with this one. Theo’s scenes are my favourite. And I love how Violet is with him. She’s a great nanny and friend.
The romance was well written, and even though this story isn’t really one that I haven’t read before, theirs felt unique. The difference in their relationship with their parents and different ways of life. Violet’s parents are Korean, and they believe that you’ll have a successful future if you’re either a doctor or a lawyer. It was sad to see how the difference was so clear and how even Theo caught up on it.
Violet had a few moments where I got annoyed at her, but I understood her better with each chapter. She was scared of getting her heart broken again, so she decided to be careful with it. And Brady wasn’t sure if he could make it work between them, having Theo get attached to her and then things not working out would make this whole thing between them more complicated. Their love for each other and Theo, along with the way this book ends is just flawless and perfect.

Once again I find myself sucked into a nanny-trope book and I ain’t mad it. I’ve been wanting more Brady since we met him in book one and he for sure delivered….in more ways than one 😉 So what happens when the one-night stand that wouldn’t give you her name shows up as the new nanny to your five-year old? If your Brady Banks you hire her and hope your raging boner settles down. 😂
The first time Brady and Violet meet they are at a bar and have hot one-night stand that either can’t stop thinking about, but in the light of day Violet pulls a ghost act. Fast forward six months later, she gets hired by an agency to become a live-in nanny to a celebrity, she just doesn’t know who. So when she shows up to her new boss’s house and is introduced to the one-night stand she ran from she’s a bit shocked. Brady was too, but since he’s been looking for his mystery girl he couldn’t be happier at the new circumstances. As these two navigate how to live with each other and not give in to the obvious lust it makes for some great laughs, lots of tension and eventually some very steamy scenes (especially one in a bathtub 🥵).
Ugh, I loved this book! Violet and Brady were a great match and then you have cute Theo that is obsessed with Legos. Brady was absolutely the best dad, and what I even loved more was his relationship with his sons mom. This book proved that not every story needs a catty, conniving ex and that two people can actually co-parent in a healthy way. Both Violet and Brady have a lot of trust issues and demons to work past, but when the fog clears the payoff was worth it. Love this two and can’t wait for more glimpses of them in future books!

Brady was too, but since he’s been looking for his mystery girl he couldn’t be happier at the new circumstances. As these two navigate how to live with each other and not give in to the obvious lust it makes for some great laughs, lots of tension and eventually some very steamy scenes (especially one in a bathtub 🥵).
Ugh, I loved this book! Violet and Brady were a great match and then you have cute Theo that is obsessed with Legos. Brady was absolutely the best dad, and what I even loved more was his relationship with his sons mom. This book proved that not every story needs a catty, conniving ex and that two people can actually co-parent in a healthy way. Both Violet and Brady have a lot of trust issues and demons to work past, but when the fog clears the payoff was worth it. Love this two and can’t wait for more glimpses of them in future books!

I love a good single dad story. Any story with a small child is always a fun read, add in Piper Rayne's flair, and you have a touchdown!
Violet becoming Brady's nanny was always going to end with them in a tangle of limbs, especially after their ONS that Brady couldn't seem to forget. I really did admire the way they tried to keep it professional. However, despite their best efforts, the tension and temptation were too much. Even for the wonderful and levelheaded Violet.
I really adored the connection that Theo and Violet created. It felt natural and nurturing, and it was so lovely to see her fit into their lives almost seamlessly.
If you are after a lighthearted and easy-to-read story, then this is definitely a book for you. Make sure to get the bonus scene...it is absolutely perfect for these two! 3.75 rating

4.5🌟s! I loved Brady and Violet! I’m usually a little hard on romcoms because I like my romance a little angsty, but this was so amazing and full of emotion!
Violet had a bit of a checkered past with love and was not interested in investing her heart in a relationship. Brady put his son, Theo, first in all things and didn’t want to expose him to someone that would leave them. Violet was only there on a short term nanny gig.
I love that Violet could be super sweet with Theo and then super sexy with Brady! And I also liked how she stood up for herself with her family and didn’t let them dictate her career choices. Go girl!
Brady is the alpha male with a heart of gold. I love how he just melts for his son and is such a good dad. And his family, OMG, his parents brought all the comic relief!!
The chemistry between Violet and Brady was smokin’. Brady could definitely flip the switch from Daddy to “DADDY,” if you know what I mean!
It was fun seeing the players again from the Lee Burrows book. Looking forward to Twyla and Chase next!!

This is the second book from "The Kingsmen Football stars" series. And this is the story of Brady. We had some glimpses in Lee's book of who will be Brady's love interest.
Violet was a strong, fiesty heroine that was Brady one night stand 6 months ago and...the nanny for his little boy. During those 6 months neither Brady or Violet couldn't stop thinking about each other. So when she moves in to be Theo's nanny, things get complicated. The attraction and the heat between them was building up more and more until one fateful day, they decided to act up on it.
The smut between them was soo soo hot 🥵🥵🥵. The scenes were just *chef's kiss 👌.
There was a bit of drama, considering that Violet was afraid to trust a man again and not to be cheated on. Brady on the other hand was never in a serious relationship and he just needed courage to admit that he loved her.

Violet and Brady had a steamy one-night stand and walked away the next morning without ever exchanging names (Violet’s decision, not Brady’s). Fast forward six months later and Brady is shocked to find that his ex has hired Violet as the nanny for their son. Awkward! After agreeing to set any residual feelings aside and keep things professional, there’s still no denying that their chemistry is explosive. They agree to a friends with benefits arrangement (well, more like a boss-employee with benefits arrangement), with Violet insisting that it ends when her assignment is over. Too bad that Brady had no intention of letting her go.
Brady and Violet were both such genuine, likable characters and it was easy to pull for them and want them to find their way together. Brady’s son Theo was an absolute sweetheart and added so many heartwarming moments to the story (man, did that kid love his dad… and Legos). I appreciated how Brady and Hannah (Theo’s mom) co-parented and that there was genuine care and respect between them, no bitterness or animosity. Violet had some issues from past relationships to overcome and, very late in the story, it seemed Brady had his own issues with abandonment to work through. The bond that Theo and Violet formed was so sweet, and seeing how Brady reacted to their bond warmed my heart. This was a great addition to the Kingsmen Football series (and can be read as a standalone), and the set-up for the third and final book has me ready for more.

Six months ago, Violet and Brady shared a wild night but no numbers and no names. Fast forward and when Brady needs a temporary nanny for a couple of months, Violet shows at his house as his new nanny. Violet needs this job. Brady needs her help. They both agree to pretend their night didn't happen and not to mention it at all. But really, neither one can forget and neither one really wants to.
Brady Banks you can absolutely kiss the nanny and you did it in fabulous fashion. There were so many aspects of this story that was so very well done. I was in awe of PR. The relationship with Brady and Violet, Violet and Theo, Brady and Theo, Brady and baby momma. It was such a breath of fresh air. I adored all of it. I am just loving these Kingsmen football players - it is such a fun series with amazing characters you just want to get to know and love. And Brady Banks was no exception - his story with Violet was awesome! From the second she showed up on his doorstep as his new nanny, there was no way Brady was going to be able to keep his promise to his baby mama to not kiss the nanny. These two just had way too much chemistry to be able to keep away from each other. It was just fun and sexy between them, but they also developed something way deeper than just that. Plus, I loved Brady's mom Lennon - she cracked me up and I definitely need to go back and read that series!
Overall, I can't get enough of this world - it's super addicting and amazing - and I can't wait for Chase's book up next!

Family first. That's how it has to be when you're co parenting a child as a single father. But when a fluke one night stand doesn't leave your memory and trying to find her for months after leads you to no where, only to have her magically turn up as your son's new nanny, lets just say that you are beyond stunned. Then a tall glass of cold water gets splashed in your face and you realize priorities and boundaries have to be set. Remember, family first.

No, Brady Banks, you CAN kiss the nanny! In fact, please - please - kiss the nanny! We beg you, kiss her.
For starters, I loved book one of the Kingsmen series and learning all about Lee Burrows and Shayna, and getting glimpses of Brady throughout that book was writing gold. Piper and Rayne are geniuses when it comes to teasing the next book as they finish a book - and how they teased Brady's book in Lee's... it had me counting down the days for this one, so you can imagine my happy dance when it dropped in my Kindle.
What became an unexpected surprise was the trajectory of this story, learning the depths of who Brady Banks is. He had been portrayed as a devoted father, playboy, and good friend. Did I mention good-looking and a complete chick magnet? That too, that too. So imagine Brady's surprise when after hooking up with a girl, she said, "No thank you" when he asked to see her again (this was in Lee's book). Never in Brady's 30-some-years had a girl said no to him. Much to his friends' delight, they too were shocked, but as guys will do, they teased him about this. Enter Brady's book, some 6-months after the hookup, and then enter the new nanny for his son. Violet. The girl who turned him down.
Holy, mother of all hookups. Why did I feel so gleeful in this moment? The suspense, the anticipation, the emotions... it's everything. How will Brady react, how will Violet? Will they tell Brady's baby mama and co-parent partner who is standing right there! Oh how I loved this awkwardness and suspense.
This book turned out to be so sweet though. Sure there were a few issues along the road, how could there not be in this genre, but I just found it to be so damn sweet and refreshing. I loved how committed of a father Brady is and how incredibly he and his son's mother work together - always with their son's best interest at heart. And then how Violet bonds with Brady's son. It is just so incredibly sweet and inspirational. I also found "getting to know" Brady to be very surprising. Somehow I wasn't expecting him to be... well, how he is. It was the best surprise. He's so thoughtful and sweet, he's genuine and devoted, and just open, and his bedroom antics.... whooooey! Hawt! Seeing him in this light was quite refreshing. Violet, too, is such a sweetheart! She's gorgeous and I love that she's got a distinct style to her. She just stands out from the rest in so many ways. And I feel for her so much when she reveals her background and baggage. It all makes sense why she turned Brady down - but the attraction is so strong between these two, and the entire time that they fight it, you as the reader are pleading with them to just give in! So Brady, please please kiss the nanny!

I zipped through this book, much like I do all of Piper Rayne's books, and can I just share that the glimpses that they gave us of the other two guys in Brady and Lee's foursome band of brothers - ohmygawd, I can't wait for those guys' books! I have a feeling Miles is going to get knocked on his ass and I cannot wait for it... But as for Brady and Violet *heart eyes emoji* they are so adorable and are total #couplegoals. Love these two and loved the book!

I love this series so much. Each book has been so full of emotion and so much fun. You Can’t Kiss The Nanny, Brady Banks captivated me from the first page to the last. After a one night together, Brady has been obsessed with finding the woman he spent the night with. Imagine his surprise when six months later, she shows up as his nanny. Can these two resist the attraction that is simmering beneath the surface and keep their relationship professional?
Violet was a complex character that was struggling with her relationship with her family and with past romantic relationships. They have left her feeling unsure of herself and she feels that she can’t trust her feelings. She feels disposable in her own life and my heart went out to her. She’s terrified of opening her heart, but Brady and his son try their best to shatter her defenses.
Brady is just adorable. He’s fiercely protective of his son and such a good father. His patience and resolve to do what’s right for both Violet and his son was so heartwarming. He had some scars from his own past and has his own fears that he needs to overcome before he can trust in his heart.

Violet and Brady had a white-hot chemistry that was absolutely electric. I loved watching Violet bloom under Brady’s attention. They both had to learn how to open themselves up and trust in another person.
Aaron Shedlock and Cindy Kay narrated the audiobook of this title. It is in duet format which is my favorite because it lets the listener become more fully involved with the audio. Aaron is great at voicing Brady’s longing and confusion regarding his feelings for Violet while Cindy infuses Violet with all the life and spunkiness and insecurities that this character feels. It’s a great listen and absolutely enhances the story.
Full of spine-tingling chemistry, laugh out loud humor, push and pull banter and so much heart, You Can’t Kiss The Nanny, Brady Banks was a fun, fast read that tugged at my emotions. I was a little worried that Brady Banks wouldn’t be able to measure up to the swoony introductory book boyfriend in the Kingsmen Football Stars series, Lee Burrows. Fear not, this duo has armed Brady Banks with something extra; he’s an amazing dad. There’s single dad romance and then there’s Piper Rayne single dad romance, and I can assure you they are not the same.
That’s something that will be especially hard to beat, but I’ve no doubt that I will fall just as hard, if not harder, for the next Kingsmen football star.
I needed this book more than I could ever put into words. Life has been a series of overwhelming events lately, making it near impossible for me to get lost inside a fictional world. On the very first page of You Can't Kiss the Nanny, Brady Banks, I was swept into the Kingsmen Football Stars world, and not one ounce of reality seeped in until I read the final word. It was the definition of the perfect escape.
Violet was sweet and a little sassy. Her heart and compassion for others were such a fundamental part of who she was, she was meant to be a nanny. The first time she and Brady met may have been by chance, but there’s no doubt in my mind that the second time was fate.
Brady is swoony, oh, so panty meltingly alpha. I loved the way he and Hannah co-parented; it melted my heart. The love and respect that they had for one another was heartwarming.
Violet and Brady had ardent physical chemistry the moment they met, but it was nothing compared to what was to come the moment they were face to face again. The volcanic connection they shared thrummed in the air around them and continued to build as they vehemently denied anything would ever happen between them again. I needed this book more than I could ever put into words. Life has been a series of overwhelming events lately, making it near impossible for me to get lost inside a fictional world. On the very first page of You Can't Kiss the Nanny, Brady Banks, I was swept into the Kingsmen Football Stars world, and not one ounce of reality seeped in until I read the final word. It was the definition of the perfect escape.
Violet was sweet and a little sassy. Her heart and compassion for others were such a fundamental part of who she was, she was meant to be a nanny. The first time she and Brady met may have been by chance, but there’s no doubt in my mind that the second time was fate.
Brady is swoony, oh, so panty meltingly alpha. I loved the way he and Hannah co-parented; it melted my heart. The love and respect that they had for one another was heartwarming.
Violet and Brady had ardent physical chemistry the moment they met, but it was nothing compared to what was to come the moment they were face to face again. The volcanic connection they shared thrummed in the air around them and continued to build as they vehemently denied anything would ever happen between them again. It was a valiant effort, but the moment they were face-to-face again, it was only a matter of time before they went from volcanic to downright combustible. You Can’t Kiss The Nanny, Brady Banks is a fantastic addition to the Kingsmen Football Stars series! This book kicks off with an unforgettable night shared between Brady and Violet. Despite their intense chemistry, Violet isn’t looking for more and leaves Brady without her name and no way of contacting her. It will be six months before Brady and Violet are reunited. They should keep things simple, and professional, and forget about the night they shared together. But, forgetting chemistry like theirs is easier said than done.
You Can’t Kiss The Nanny, Brady Banks was such a fun read. You can’t help but fall for Violet the minute you meet her. She’s worked hard to handle the disappointments life has thrown her way and would do anything for those she lets into her circle. Being a nanny for Brady Banks was the last thing she ever expected, but turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to them.
I have to say, I applaud the author for the way that she handled Brady and Hannah’s situation. It was so refreshing to see a couple who truly wanted what was best for their child and worked hard at being co-parents. There was no baby mama drama and that made this reader truly happy.

I received an ARC of this book.
Absolutely adorable. I really liked this book. I binged books 0.5 and 1 right before starting this one so everything was fresh. I will say that it’s not necessary to read those first but I find that Piper Rayne’s books are best enjoyed in order even though they are technically standalones. The previous books in the series give you insight into the characters pasts and personalities.
So this book is about Brady Banks. He is the football teams wide receiver. He is also the son of Jasper And Lennon Banks from “Mad About the Banker” from the Modern Love series (HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT SERIES). We get quite a few scenes with Jasper and Lennon and it felt like running into old friends. We even got a call out of Xavier Greene from the Greene Family series. ( can you tell I’m a Piper Rayne fan?). Anyway, Brady is your typical playboy jock who doesn’t get close to anyone because he also happens to have a 5 year old son, Theo. In prior books, we learn about a one night stand that Brady has that he can’t move on from (remember this). He is in a very healthy co-parenting relationship with Theo’s mom. An out of the country job opportunity arises for Theo’s mom which creates a situation where Brady needs to hire a nanny. Brady has Theo’s mom facilitate the hiring of the nanny and SURPRISE: Brady’s one night stand woman he can’t get out of his head shows up as the nanny!!
Violet is the nanny hired (and the one night stand that Brady was obsessed with). She comes with some past relationship baggage but also with a lot of love to give- not only to Brady but Theo too. Due to this being a nanny trope, we get a lot of scenes with her with Theo. Their bond is great and they make such a beautiful family.
The book follows the same formula as just about every nanny/single dad book out there. This story is still fun and HOT and amazing. The chemistry and attraction is sizzling. It does lean close on the edge of instalove which I didn’t love.
My favorite thing about Piper Rayne’s writing is how attached you get to the characters. The first book or two can be shaky as you are still getting to know everyone but I feel pretty solid with this cast of characters. I know what I want to happen in the future and can see the work that has been put into the writing to set up those future scenarios. I am SO EXCITED for Chase’s book. At this time, there isn’t an announcement for a Miles book- but I hope there is one. I don’t want to say goodbye to this football team anytime soon.

Brady and Violet have some serious sexual tension between them. Brady seemed different in this book than he did in the first book. I loved the relationship between Brady, Violet and Theo.
I loved that this was a duet narration for the audiobook. Aaron Shedlock was a great choice for Brady. This was my first time listening to Cindy Kay and she was ok.
Get ready for... sports (football), one-night stand, forbidden, nanny, single dad, forced proximity, workplace, multicultural, and dual first-person point of view.

Fast forward about 22 years (warp speed) and you have YOU CANT KISS THE NANNY BRADY BANKS.
Brady Banks is an NFL stalwart who loves nothing more than his 5yo son Theo. He co-parents with his ex-wife, but when her job takes her overseas on a deployment, she proposes Brady get a nanny to help him care for Theo. Sounds like a plan until Brady meets the said nanny - one Violet, of the ‘I slept with Brady and didn’t think I’d ever see him again, until I did ….when I got the job nannying for his son’. So Violet and Brady put their (hot) past behind them for the sake of Theo and Violet’s lack of other employment. Until they can’t….
YOU CANT KISS THE NANNY BRADY BANKS is a (slight) age-gap, unrequited, mysterious stranger one night stand but wanting more, forbidden sports romance. There’s steam galore about Brady’s mansion (but with some shushing so Theo is none the wiser). There are also cameos from Brady’s parents, which I loved - as both Jasper and Lennon looked good with a few years on them (channeling this energy I have to say). Other themes include cultural norms and expectations (Violet is of Korean descent and not adhering to her parents expectations of what she should be achieving), Violet’s fear of being hurt after a cheating ex, and female friendships found.
This is the second bingeable instalment of the Kingsmen series, with Lee Burrows et al, all making appearances. Well worth your money!
