God's big idea is not to establish religion nor for mankind to go to heaven, but it is to establish His kingdom on earth ruled through mankind.

A mind renewal and lifestyle transformation.

God's Big Idea - Reclaiming God's original purpose for life is a new perspective to gospel without the influence of the religion. Now a days we got intimated to many culture phenomenon and principles and there are many hurdles for the believers from a varied communities. But for the christian to become a good fish to inherit his kingdom principles to live a life that can separate everyone at the judgement day. "Let his kingdom come and will be done on earth as it is in heaven" and everyone will be emphasized with the knowledge and kingdom glory as written in Habakuk 2:14. Really a great insight on earthly realm to proceed and keep the motivation Faith-> Goodness -> Knowledge -> Self control -> Perseverance -> Godliness -> Mutual affection -> Love.

I’m giving this five stars for the importance of the content, even though I found the book itself slightly challenging to finish, for some reason. I’m blessed to be in a church where the concepts of this book are regularly preached on Sundays (and this read was personally given to me by my pastor). With that in mind, the topics weren’t quite as revolutionary are they would have been if I’d been learning of them on my own for the first time. But I think every Christian should familiarize themselves with the perspectives discussed and explained in this book. It really gives a focus and purpose and vision for the life we have here on earth as Christians. And the last two chapters really make living that purpose out, practical! I will definitely be keeping this new mindset going forward in my faith walk.

This book helps lay the ground work for understanding how even the best intentioned theologians of our time have led us right back to the place where Jesus found the Pharisees; They had taken Gods laws meant to shine as a light to lead man and turned them into rules by with to control man.

Christianity today has become more about following the system of religion then it is about following Christ and living or more importantly seeking his kingdom. The hardest obstacle to overcome as I read this book was the thought that I am working towards the goal of one day leaving this Earth to Join Gods Kingdom "in Heaven". When in actuality Jesus always said the Kingdom was coming to Earth and is here now.

Reread the bible with that concept in mind and suddenly so much more makes sense and becomes clear....

Wow! I read this book for the first time last year. I think it's safe to say,it changed my life. My mindset and orientation was changed. Really this was a stepping stone. It came to me at a point i needed definition. I really didn't know what to do about my spirituality. But then Pastor Myles gave me insight through this book. I realised my purpose and went back to the drawing table. Right there and there, i rededicated my life to Christ and let God have His way. I've truly been blessed that's why it sits comfortable on my shelf as one of my all-time favourites.

A great book indeed. It clearly brings out the fact that God did not send his Son Jesus to start a religion but to restore the Kingdom of God which we lost. From this perspective,my understanding of the scriptures with a Kingdom mindset has made the Bible increasingly interesting.

The main appeal of this book for me was the author being anti-religion and pro-God. I think it is pretty obvious that religion is a cause of so much hurt and pain around the world through the centuries, and that is just not something Jesus would have favored.

This book helped to renew my mind. It served as a reminder that we are in this world but not of this world.

A great help! It makes you really think about how you view God and His purpose for your life. If you're looking then this is the place to start outside of the Bible of course!

This book was not what I expected but it was so much more than I expected. One of my favorite statements by the author is "Jesus did not come to be a religious leader. He came as a governmental Agent of the Kingdom".
Religious Christianity that s not working because of t was never meant to be. It's about Kingdom culture.

Our goals are not to die and go to heaven, but to live and bring the Kingdom of God to earth.
Our lifestyle should reflect the Kingdom Culture. This culture is so attractive that others cannot help but be drawn to it.
I recommend this read.
