I usually don't read graphic novels but the story of Ernst Shackelton and the Endurance struck me when I read it a couple years ago that I couldn't not buy this edition.

The story of the Endurance is one of the most incredible stories I ever read and it's even more amazing that it really happened. This graphic novel illustrates some of the horrors of spending over a year trapped in Antartica brilliantly and some pages really brought shivers to my spine.

Well worth the read and I can't wait till my boys grow a bit older and I can share this story with them as well. I'm sure it will inspire them to do great things.

Love the art work! Characters weren’t really recognisable so it was hard to remember who was who. Th story is really interesting so I advise to look it up and read it elsewhere in the book the story is told very fast and some details are left out. I love the idea of historical happenings like these made in to graphic novels.

J'ai toujours aimé les histoires de Shackleton. Cette BD racote l'histoire du navire Endurance, qui a essayé de traversé l'Antarctique, après que le Pôle Sur a été ateint.
